Guys, he didn't just wait 20 years to kill Orochi. Big Mom came to Wano and allied with him. The marines and WG are in a disarray over Blackbeard and the Shichibukai. There is a massive, viable reason for Kaido kill Orochi NOW and not before

The main reason an incredibly prosperous land like Wano fell into the shambles that it is today is mainly because of Orochi. Kaidou is only a supporter that aided him in destroying it. It makes zero sense for someone like Orochi who has cause Wano so much strife to be disposed off so easily. Also you've gotta ask yourself the question why Oda even bothered to give a weakling like Orochi a devil fruit as rare and powerful as the yamato no orochi if he was just going to dispose of him the way he did.

With current sequence of events, I'm not really sure how Oda uses Orochi but Orochi imo still has a trump card at his disposal, which is the CP0. Who knows, we could see a situation in which Orochi allies with the marines and the current situation with the Samurai and the SH alliance going after Kaidou is very advantageous for him particularly if he's able to get some sort of marine backing

It was made pretty clear that the Koruzomi elders were Kaido's crewmates in Rox, once Shiki-face was displayed. They organized everything.

Once Kaido killed the "old hag", and Barto's DF ancestor, Orochi was just a mouthpiece with no backing.

I wanted Zoro to avenge Yasui. This spoiler is upsetting to me but I never equated it to mocking Zoro.

No he did not, it has to be handled by the characters he directly affected aka the scabbards who represents the citizen of Wano in which Kaido doesn't, so obviously Orochi hasn't paid for what he did.

If Orochi is actually dead this is going to be a way bigger discussion within the community than the Will of P because we basically wasted all those chapters on Orochi, Oden, and the scabbards (especially Denjiro) who suffered to 20 years under that dumbass who apparently got killed for no reason other than Kaido lol'ing and swinging his club out of reflex.
