Spoiler Unfiltered Kingdom Talks - Historical info & all that jazz (Beware)

Karin vs Moubu is a hyped matchup too, we got a couple tidbits between the two during the Zhao invasion. They’ve been going at it for a while now. I can see Moubu (with some help from Ouhon or YTW maybe) defeating her and Man’U, while SHK and Kouen beat Shin and Mouten. This is where Sei accepts Ousen’s conditions and gives him command of the army.
Though Ousen giving Karin a masterclass in warfare would be a sight to see
If Karin is a warrior able to hold her own against Moubu
:steef:

Lanmei looks a bit shook there while Warin is completely fearless. She probably one shots Oukotsu too.
When Lanmei was in front of her and asked what Warin's plan was, she first gave him a troll answer, then stayed silent for a bit until she made him draw his sword. She also called him an ape when knowing of his defeat.

Her attitude changes completely when Kouen's name is simply brought up in a conversation. Lol.

@SakazOuki you know how Hakuki conquered the Chu capital?

Do you think Hara will mention that in the manga?
The one where he floods the city right?
He has to, the canal he built is still functioning to this day, we’ll eventually see it when we reach Chu’s capital
Hara should dedicate at least 50 chapters to the old era’s exploits, there should be popular demand

I don't know how Hakuki conquered the capital.

Though if it was a flooding, we could learn about it during the Wei conquest.

The reason why I asked is because during Kanmei vs Moubu, a big deal was made over the fact that that Qin vs Chu rarely fought within the last 30 years. While it is possible that Hakuki conquered the capital over 30 years before Coalition, it would be kinda weird for Kanmei to speak the way he did about Qin.

I did a quick research
Chouhei happened in 260 bc
Coalition happened in 241 bc
Should be within reason, Hakuki has a long service record

it was stated that Shunshinkun helped Chu grow into a super state, and i believe it was stated that Qin was the most powerful state during the time of King Sho.

So Qin>Chu was probably factual for most of the Warring States

Qin became the most powerful thanks to Shibasaku and Hakuki iirc, it was during their era that Qin flourished to this degree. This is from the history though, we can't really depend on it much when it comes to the strength of states, Hara spends a lot of effort trying to make Qin the underdog. Biggest example is how he gave Riboku countless generals and soliders, when in reality his most impressive feat was tackling the Qin forces with low numbers

So I don't know I think we lack enough info
I know in Hakuki's era Qin was the strongest, Qin citizens even had a saying that as long as Hakuki draws breath, Qin is safe
As for the times prior no idea

232 B.C. Hango
-2 year timeskip
-Qin draws new plan for unification
-Ousen finds some recruits

230 B.C. Han falls

229 B.C. Ousen launches another invasion on Zhao
-Neither side can progress against one another resulting in a year long stalemate

228 B.C. Riboku executed, Choukutsu swiftly defeated, Zhao falls

We’re in for a treat
With that said, I wonder if Hara will grant Riboku a different ending, Shin has promised to take him down countless times
But then again, Riboku’s tragedy can serve as character development for Shin, he’s probably going to carry his will like he did the other generals

I'm imagining the letter.

"Hey Shin, I'm about to be executed by my bum arse state. Look after my wife and raise my kid. Here's my coat as a keepsake I guess. Functionally useless but still better than your hideous, smelly peasant rags.

Contemptuously,
Your maybe, possible cousin."
