He can change ''how'' Luffy will find OP, but he isn't going to change OP will end with finding, changing that is changing the entire story.

If you bring up a quote saying Oda didn't decide should Kaido fall on Wano arc or not then would comparable. Because that would be a huge decision as well. Kaido was going to fall either way on Wano that was certain, and OP will end after finding it.

I don't know why you're comparing them in that way, as I said the basic point was that Oda says whatever he wants in interviews at times, but that doesn't mean he'll actually follow those things up. In this case it was how the final villain of a 10+ year long saga was defeated - I don't find that to be a particularly minor detail.

Being unpredictable doesn't make a better written story. Oda actually tries to be too unpredictable if anything, he needs to do less of that it's been hurting his story. This is atleast a step in the right direction.

Few as they are, Oda has planted the seeds for this within, yes, even the World Nobles, most recently Mjosgard

I imagine Oda will align things that will give all of the CDs a chance to change, most may choose good or evil but the ones that choose evil will be defeated and only the good will remain, etc.

Haven't gave it too much thought so there's probably a lot wrong with this but if Nika is truly to bring redemption and union to all factions and people, that should include the royalty, be it the Island Kingdoms to the highest World Nobles
