And if they meet I'm sure it'll be on site but the narrative of the story especially post time skip has been leading to Koby taking down BB

Raid on Amazon Lily~ Koby and BB once again met

Now Kobys mentor and maybe even father figure was captured by BB so he could be rescued

And as I mentioned before just like Garp got famous for taking down Rocks, Koby needs a event that'll put his name on the map, something that'll make him a true rival of Luffy and worthy to be called an admiral or maybe even fleet admiral in the future

Beating BB would definitely do that
