Akainu is the only Marine whom I think will stay with the WG.

He was picked over kuzan not for his strength but justice

I'm more interested Aramaki reaction lol.
Bro considered CD gods and now the whole world is against them
True, it'd be interesting to see his reaction.
If only the rulers have rights, and get overthrown, will GB start spewing the same shit defending the rights of the new powers to be, or will he still show loyalty to the old ones?
IMO, the latter.
GB has a double-romantic-suicide tattoo. He is the ultimate ride-or-die bitch. I think he is the ONLY admiral to fall alongside the CDs.

I couldn't disagree more.
I think Akainu takes his Marines and fight against everyone else, WG included, to impose their brand of absolute justice.

Fuji goes with SWORD, basically doing the same stuff as Akainu, only protecting people in need instead of executing them.

GB stays a loyal dog of the CDs as per my previous post.

Kuzan is with BB (until the betrayal).

Kizaru is bound to deflect on the WG and be killed because of it, IF Oda sticks to his movie inspiration.

So Akainu is fuming while eagerly waiting for Vegapunk's truth bomb. His anger can mean one thing, he's ready to make a decision regarding his loyalty to the World Government depending on what he hears

If in fact the Marines end up defecting, then you can expect Akainu's navy to go against literally everyone
Both the World Government under Gorosei rule and pirates alike will be considered outlaws according to Akainu's absolute justice
His ideal scenario for a just world would be for any corrupt authority or pirate filth to simply cease to exist, Vegapunk is simply giving him the incentive to act on it
He's a wildcard now, yes.
But I think there's a reason Oda introduced a full blown fascist admiral with plant abilities.

A clean, quick and sad way to get rid of akainu is simply poison. Something even gorosei are afraid of.

Aokiji would be too lazy to do anything
Do you see the reason behind their DFs now?
One would "freeze" the situation to better evaluate it, but the evaluation may take too long for him to intervene.
The other "explodes" in a rage fit without taking the necessary time to think things over, likely creating more damage than if he'd let the situation solve itself.

People don’t understand Aramaki lol. The guy isn’t a Celestial Dragon loyalist. If he was, he would’ve joined the Marines long before now.

In actuality he’s just completely deluded by WG propaganda, but it wouldn’t take much at all for him to defect. He spent most of his life being unaffiliated with the World Government after all. Lol

Akainu literally ordered every man, woman and child on Ohara to be murdered on the off chance that a Void Century scholar was there.

Now he’s exploding with rage at Vegapunk‘s speech revealing things from the Void Century.

Not much reason to think this is the beginnings of a coup.
Vegapunk also refused to say who fired the weapon to begin with. So Akainu could be easily led to believe it was a pirate/revolutionary scum

Never said he was.
Never said I'd want him to be my bff irl.
But I do like what he represents, and I do want him to have a good character arc.
He is a tool, a wg killing machine who massacred the smartest people on earth, the ohara squad, this guy is evil, anything else is fanfiction, good luck with your agenda tho.
