Speculations Favorite Small Unsolved Mystery?

#1
It's break week, so there isn't anything new to discuss, at least for the manga proper (there are some new Vivre Cards dropping).
A lot of current speculation and theory crafting is fixated on Egghead and the Void Century right now, but are there any mysteries in the series still lingering that you hope will be solved at some point? Or even concepts/locations/people mentioned that have not been shown?

Personally, I'm interested in the purpose of Lodestar Island. It shouldn't just be a plot device used to introduce the Road Poneglyphs. The bit about Crocus lying can be waved away as a retcon, but will we ever see the island? What causes it to have such odd magnetism? Is there anything on the island that informs travelers about the Poneglyphs?

Post any other mysteries you're fond of below.

I doubt itโ€™ll ever be explained but I really like its existence, the monsters of the Florian Triangle.
It might be for the best if they are never explained, especially since it's meant to be eerie. It's fun that so many lingering questions about One Piece eventually get answered, but even after the series concludes, I hope there are things to speculate about. Though it could be a relative of Zunesha

Zoro fans in 2011 must have been so excited about the eye. Over a decade and it hasn't even been acknowledged. Perhaps the explanation is that Perona screwed up cooking and got too much hot sauce in Zoro's eye

oda drew big attention to the scar when it was introduced and oda's teacher had to change his own manga because oda told him that zoro would lose an eye something he said he had planned since chapter 1.
Even though everyone is in denial about it i'm pretty sure there's meaning behind the scar other than ''zoro screwed up''

yeah i'm sure that's why oda left it unexplained
It's either that or he cut it out himself to prove he's willing to do anything to get stronger

i think there's a mangekyo sharingan there :steef:
Maybe it's related to Mihawk's hawk eyes. Like it's a form of conditioning for Zoro so he can get better at observation or even future sight. We still don't know the importance of Mihawk/Imu's eyes...

I still wonder if Madame Sharley's prediction will actually eventually come true, or if it was just used to build tension in the FI arc itself.
The destruction of the Red Line seems inevitable. No Red Line would allow the Four Blues to unite and create an All Blue. If the Red Line goes, then Fishman Island probably also goes

It has been such a popular theory, for so long, that I don't know if Oda wants to go down that route, haha.

the questions i am most interested right now are: why doesn't blackbeard sleep and why did he come to drum? i believe the answers are related, they also have something to do with wapol and his devilfruit.

IMO, Lodestar is just as important to finding the OP as the roadglyphs are. The island is called a guiding star for a reason. It alone isn't enough, but, I believe, neither are the 4 roadglyphs.
The way I see it, the 4 RPs together show you a path. But this can be as wide as the entire planet; an axis across its fat blue belly.
But when you combine the 4 RPs on Lodestar, then something in the island's geography/architecture points you to a very specific spot along that path formed by the 4 RPs = the entrance to Laugh Tale.
