Well oven killed pound and he turned ok , Oda doesnt kill people in his manga. If anything villains have survived in almost every arc.

Pound was off screened. We literally see Orochi beheaded with blood and later blanked out on the ground with fukurujou stunned

- Mimiwarigumi leader and one other samurai look entirely unfazed by Orochis beheading. Either they know something or they are seriously just not scared. Even Fukurokuju was surprised.

- The person drawn in 982 definitely was not Izo. Izo's coat does not have the same pattern. Oda is well known for his detail, this is another person being hidden, im sure of it now

Not only that, but according to the myth, the way Susa-no-O killed Orochi, is by completely hacking it to pieces, including all of it's heads.

We can see that with Kaido.

The fruit can be ate by Yamato so Oda can show it properly.

It doesnt make sense , Orochi would have obeyed kaido even without the kill . Only reason probably that could be probably because of bigmom's alliance .

Well Brook DF had that condition if you remember well.


And Kaido is probably DF + Haki.

So Orochi way to survive this depends if he's Haki is good enough .... against Kaido lol
