Speculations Tashigi HAS to be strong enough to fight Zoro EoS

You made the claim that Tashigi would go after it, it's never said anywhere to be a ranked blade.
He will go after it bcs after all its a supreme blade :sanmoji:
Just like roger,wb,mihawk
Its similar to when oda took time to reveal law s sword is a meito cursed sword :sanmoji:
I knew you were dumb but this beyond that

So just more headcanon:milaugh:

Shanks' sword has no confirmed rank so Tashigi has no reason to go after it, if it's revealed to have one, then you can talk, until then, shut up.

Tashigi will never be strong enough to face Zoro.

She was behind him in the beginning and she was behind him in Punk Hazard, both times by a huge margin. She doesn't have his growth, that's supposed to be extraordinary.

Now, as Zoro is powercrept even further into the realm of top tiers in a matter of in-story weeks, it's even more obvious. Her role was never to become strong enough to eventually fight Zoro. I don't know where such expectations came from, but certainly not from the story.

Tashigi is a very crucial character in Zoro’s story arc. She’s not comparable to Zoro’s other rivals like Killer or Kaku.

Zoro’s story starts with Kuina. Kuina wanted to be WSSM, but doubted she could do it because she was a woman. Zoro said otherwise, but subsequently afterward, Kuina died falling down the stairs.

This is a crucial moment in Zoro’s life as it essentially instilled into Zoro the idea that women are fragile. This is why Zoro doesn’t respect female characters the same as he does male characters. Hence he did not cut Tashigi or Monet.

Tashigi is a female swordsman who shares Kuina’s face. Yet Zoro has never taken her seriously.

As it stands, the current narrative basically states that sexism is correct, and Kuina was right in doubting that she could be WSSM due to being female.

This basically goes contrary to what Zoro stood for in his flashback and would be dogshit writing if Oda actually goes through with it. So what is the solution? Is Oda just sexist?

I think not. I think Oda will inevitably shift the narrative via tashigi.

Tashigi has likely grown stronger off screen and she will continue to do so until inevitably, she will be strong enough to fight Zoro. Not defeat Zoro. Not even push Zoro to high diff. But at least hold her own long enough to make Zoro acknowledge her and see the spirit of Kuina in her.

Tashigi will remind Zoro that he was right, that a woman with enough will could possibly WSSM, even if Tashigi is still ultimately weaker than Zoro. Through Tashigi, Zoro will briefly be able to relive his rivalry with Kuina, though this time with the roles reversed.

Zoro will respectfully defeat Tashigi, cutting her down as Mihawk did to him in East blue.

Ultimately idk and idc how Oda makes Tashigi strong enough to fight Zoro. Maybe give her an asspull DF. Reveal she was doing haki training with Bogard since Law beat her in Punk Hazard. Give her a supreme grade. It doesn’t matter.

Tashigi needs to be able to at least fight Zoro without getting instantly neg diffed like she did in chapter 100.

Otherwise her character is pointless. Oda is a sexist. And women<men.

I’d like to have enough faith that Oda has the IQ points to give Zoro and Tashigi a satisfying storyline.

but who knows.

Sorry I stopped there. You may have good observation overall but this part is so wrong. Zoro is a classic “man of honor” who would hate to harm a woman. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t respect female characters as much as male ones. Those who he encountered and held back were fragile/weaker than him hence the honorable part of him that has a soft spot for woman prevailed in ending them.
Had he encountered big mom, he wouldn’t think she’s fragile. His encounter with BW in Whiskey Peak is another good example. He didn’t waver against the child and woman trick even though he has soft spot for them nor held back after Miss Monday went overboard with her violent attacks. Even in Monet’s case, he would have eventually ended her when she stood back up but Tashigi did it instead.
Nah he disrespects them

he is willing to cut off King’s wing and kill a baroque works agent but won’t cut tashigi.

Remember Mihawk vs Zoro in East blue? Mihawk didn’t need to cut Zoro to defeat him, but did so anyways as a sign of respect.

Zoro is sexist

Rightfully said, it's sad that many people don't care about Zoro as a character.

By the end of the series, Oda could have Tashigi fight Zoro and by each duel, she becomes stronger. Then, in the 2001st duel, Tashigi finally wins.
Thing is tho he doesn’t even need to do that

hs just needs Tashigi to be strong enough to give a payoff to the kuina stuff

idk why people are so unwilling to see that this is an unresolved issue.

Zoro - Supreme being in the world.
MDT - Tashigi can fight that.
Tashigi is Kuina 2.0

Oda will probably return to men>woman theme, but i cannot see Tashigi fighting Zoro. That would be painfully bad. If Tashigi can push Zoro to mid diff, it means she was training 13123129 times harder then Zoro.
I assume Zoro will fight some female swordsmen and Tashigi just gonna be there to witness their fight.

That ship sailed long ago. Oda had her be a damsel in distress for Koby & Helmeppo at Hachinosu. That’s what he thinks of her
Oda didn’t give her a moment there because it wasn’t the right time

Tashigi is Smoker’s right hand. Right hand men always get their moment to shine defending their captain. Zoro blocking hakai, Killer beating Hawkins, Bepo saving Law.

So of course Tashigi wasn’t going to be relevant in a plot where Smoker wasn’t even involved. It has nothing to do with powerlevel. Her inclusion in hachinosu was likely just to lead to the Sword x smoker meet up we’re seeing unfold right now.

There’s nothing wrong with this

Tashigi is a reflection of Zoro’s greatest rival
