It's definetely a controversial chapter, I can see both sides of the argument for why Bonney is able to turn into a Nika-version of her future. I have fingers crossed on next chapter allowing the Ancient Robot to surface and reveal something cool. It seems it was looking for Joyboy more so than simply protecting the broadcast.
