Speculations How will SHPs surpass Roger Pirates?

The Strawhats already surpassed them.
Grand fleet+Wano+Nika Bonney and her pacifista/Kuma Seraphim >> only 2 top tiers that we're almost killed by a fleet of fodders.
Mihawk destroyed a fleet because he was bored but Roger and Ray couldn't send a flying slash and destroy a couple of ships? Shanks has the same problem, these Roger pirates can't handle ships.

They still haven’t reached their full potential yet so this is going to be clearer once they reach Raftel. Also specific match up problems for Luffy aren’t necessarily the determinant for him surpassing Roger. It could be that even by the end of the series Luffy will still find it harder fighting swordsmen and characters that use slashing techniques, that isn’t to say he’s not outright stronger. Also for the longest time a lot people have been saying EoS Sanji won’t be stronger than Marco which always sounded off simply because the enemies down the line necessitated Sanji being stronger than that. One of those being Queen, the next major battle he has is going to feature a character stronger than that and by the final war he will be fighting one of the Admirals or Gorosei so he’s going to be a top tier when it is all said and done.
As for the rest idk. Oda hasn’t done much with them. Jinbe is already at his prime. The fact that the others don’t even have or displayed haki outside of Ussop is telling of how poorly Oda has handled them. To simply have basic haki isn’t even differentiating you from relative fodder in the new world. I guess they will grow in other areas to balance it out, like Franky/Nami for example aren’t in need of haki to shine.

Luffy and co. still have a lot of room to grow. Luffy can upgrade even more his ACoC (e.g.: with CoO killing, for example) and the others their haki (CoC/CoA/CoO, none of them have everything perfected).
Roger's crew isn't really that much overpowered, I think, with the exception of its core members. If you take a look at old Crocus, for example, he was struggling with the Baroque Works (he didn't want to get rid of them because he didn't want more to come) and was barely capable of protecting Laboon from Mr. 9 and Miss Wednesday/Vivi (if Luffy wasn't there, they would probably succeed in taking down Laboon from the inside). Quite a different portrayal from old Rayleigh, who's still capable of holding his own against the likes of Blackbeard and Kizaru.

Roger had a very top heavy crew. By eos there won't be a weak sh. Even ussop will overall be in the yc tier and reach high tier. Shs are still growing and they will probably get another member or 2. Imo Yamato will probably still join just as with jinbe in fmi had she joined in wano the shs would be to strong. Luffy crew is not only going to be top heavy like Roger's crew with luffy zoro sanji and likely Yamato but the rest of his crew will be vastly stronger than the rest of Roger's crew. This isn't even to mention Luffy's grand fleet. Even if you believe the core of Roger Rayleigh oden and gaban are > luffy zoro sanji and Yamato, the grand fleet with the rest of the shs are will be way ahead of the rest of the Roger pirates. Even if Yamato doesn't join the eos shs will still be stronger.
I don’t know why you push so hard for Zoro to be so close to Luffy. I agreed with everything until you said Zoro > Roger it won’t happen bro. What makes logical sens is:
Luffy > Roger > Zoro > Rayleigh > Sanji > Scopper.
What makes people say Zoro > Roger? Even if you consider Roger a swordsman, Mihawk wasn’t the Worlds Greatest Swordsman when Roger was running the seas. So why will Zoro > Roger? You’re internal bias has really been showing recently.
