I don't like Yamato joining, though if she does join i hope her similar appearance to Nami dies down.

King just let Kaido borrow his sword for the public public beheading Orochi, showing how you execute folks. You don't just start yapping about it for a few chapters.

Kaido hearing about the WG/Marines plan from Wano is a little surprising but looks like there's someone giving him the intel if it's not Drake thats doing that

Since Kaido and Orochi joined forces, all of their allies must know of the elevator entrance to Wano, that includes the F6. After overhearing Kaido's announcement about moving Onigashima to the Flower Capital, Drake may have summoned a large Marine force to include Sword, the SSG, and maybe the Kuja pirates to Wano. That force is going to lay in wait in the Flower Capital to engage Kaido's and BM's forces when they arrive. Drake is the key to the Marines in Wano, because I see no other way this battle being larger than Marineford without the Navy's presence.

If large scale of Marine came to wano, thats mean "Sword" is a known organization among the marine members.

Because, i think X-Drake works directly for Akainu as fleet admiral.

The SSG hype just keeps on delivering


It may entirely possible that SSG > Warlords which is ridiculous since they had Mihawk on their side.

Remember that the SSG are just the group of scientists that Vegapunk seems be in control of. Its whatever they created that are the shichibukai replacements (improved Pacifista, etc). It could actually be the scientists though (maybe in modification with the weapons), there was no indication really yet.

My hope is that, if Act 3 ends with them losing and Kaido moving to Wano, then even the BMP can use the secret entrance and join them at the Flower Capital.

First thing- Translation were way off/ messy this week.

Orochi getting killed sounded like a ploy to bring out the RS from the hiding and show their hands but upon reading the chapter, I think he died for GOOD. In a way, Kanjuro is the biggest scum than he ever was. Orochi got the death of nobody and for Samurai, their couldn't be any worse. Never imagined Oda would show decapitation with blood effect though. Try censoring that TOEI..

Remember, the Marines are freaking out over something currently and Blackbeard doesn't want them to get it either. I've been saying for awhile that Pluton's location leaked from Cobra at the Reverie to throw the world in turmoil. Robin knew this location too but it was heavily implied he knows too.

What a chapter! First "mind-blowing" one in quite a while (despite some issues, I'll get to that later).

God, did I love to finally see some real brutality and death in this series! Way to go, Oda! I swear he was watching the movie "300", when he drew that whole Kaido-Orochi sequence.

This time I'm actually quite confident a character really stays dead. There's no way Oda can backtrack on that (he literally beheaded Orochi, with nobody there to help Orochi, and we also saw the blood + head).

edit: Well, completely forgot about Orochi's mythical hydra DF ... sigh.

Two things though:

1) Luffy promises Yamato to take off her handcuffs, which are revealed to be the same that Luffy & Co. wore in Udon. Why on earth doesn't he do it on the spot? He has learned advanced CoA now and he could already take off the exact same collars in Udon (from himself and grampy Hyogoro). That is some PIS right there ...

2) Speaking of Yamato, I really like her personality ... but why oh why did you have to give her a carbon-copy of Nami's face, Oda? Come on man, it's not that hard to draw unique female characters.

3) This English translation was a travesty. Who on earth translated that chapter, a potato?

This is totally happening. I still think Shanks is the real "final" battle. It ties together perfectly with the series beginning with the Strawhat and Luffy's relationship with Shanks.

Kaido not caring one bit about history of Wano and his ambition to go for One Piece, Ancient Weapons was good to see!! That's what I want from Yonko!!

Does Kaido know about the whereabouts of Ancient Weapons??? We may get info about other two ancient weapons soon!!

Now that important Kaido speech is over...War is about to start!! And mostly alliance are gonna lose here imo....

Luffy will defeat Kaido in Wano mainland in front of people of Wano imo....There may be lot more forces involved in this war than what we are expecting...... Great chapter!!!
