BUT IN WHAT WORLD do you read a manga where a character is known to always quickly rescue a character, or any lady, and in this chapter did rush to rescue her (Robin even says 'someone will be there in a HEART BEAT).
And think "NAAAAH I'm going to make him waste time talking to Jinbe, profess love, spin away slowly, and then walk slow-mo into the scene while lighting a cigarette."
Nami is in danger. Oda made Sanji rush there because she was in danger something where time is of the essence.
But Toei thinks danger means slow-mo.
Oda makes Sanji fast when it matters and focuses on his speed.
Toei makes him walk everywhere and act like he has all the time in the world being slower than Usopp.
The writing sucks. The main director does not know how to write. He gets tone wrong, mood wrong, scene connection and flow wrong. This guy needs to go back to Language Arts class.
