You can do that. But stuff like that always causes unnecessary paranoia. I claimed to prevent having to defend myself all the time and now I have to continue doing that. Sigh...
Anyway, from what I got from this DP I get strong Town vs Town vibes from a lot of the arguments here. Hence I'm thinking scum is among the more quiet players who can hide behind those arguments and slip under the radar that way.

But you have to factor in two things...
1) flower claimed not now but hours ago. I am sure most if not all already saw that claim yet no one countered.
2)if some missed due to being offline then it's just day one..we can still learn from them tomorrow. It's not like flower can change her claim tomorrow.
My concern is that what if conversion happens tonight which is likely to happen as it's day one. I, as cult leader in past preferred conversions over kill to increase my faction strength to maximum before I go for kills...

My top sus at the moment is Flowa. Claimed a role that can easily be fake claimed from what I see, flip flopping with Kiwi, not answering my questions. My biggest concern is that she might actually be a fool and is trying to get lynched.
Lanji is a townie imo. He's asking questions, calling out people, active in scum hunting. I've only seen him as mafia once and his style was very different.

Zara has a lot of fluff posts and hasn't contributed much. In the last game he was more helpful, although he subbed in that game and it was almost the end.
Sunita no read so far. Barely made posts and I have no idea how she usually plays.
Melon mostly helped with some mechanics and had some jokes here and there. Seeing as she's a new player I can put her neutral so far, maybe leaning townie.
Kiwi was weird to me, basically said that no matter what I do I am scum to her, but seeing that Flowa flip flopped with her, and her being my top sus, I'll put Kiwi as neutral for now.
I've read your and Marimo's talk and I do agree that his play seems a bit different now. Staying back for some reason, like something is holding him off from playing his town self.
AL is more active in his play this time, compared to when he was survivor in the last game. That's the only game I played with him, and seeing as people mention he is usually less active when scum makes me think he is townie. He's also the one with the most votes currently, unless I missed something, but doesn't appear to be panicking. Though it can be because 10 votes are needed to lynch him.
FB seems like a town. Susing back whoever he thinks is susing him.
NW is weird. I still think he's either a frustrated townie or a fool. I am more inclined to believe the first one now though.
When it comes to Sera I don't know. Saw his and Fuji's back and forth and I think Fuji is a townie and that looked like a town vs town to me.
Most of what happened actually looked like town vs town to me.
Cobra I currently don't have a strong read on. Barely posted, wanted to cut the day phase. Probably a townie just wanting some action to happen.
Krog answered some questions about mechanics here and there and seemed a bit diplomatic in his posts. I think that matches his usual play so I am not alarmed by him so far.
