Kroos and Modrić > Xavi Iniesta because K and M did better with a slightly weaker squad and in a steonger more competition (with City and PSG at their peaks, a strong Juve side in the mid and early 10s, Guardiola's Bayern etc)
No team left for me to root for besides maybe Switzerland but they won't win it and I'm almost sure they will get screwed over in the match against England already by either penalty, own goal or some other bullshit.
Xavi and Iniesta were just products of Guardiola's great system
Modrić and Kroos stayed consistent with different managers and provided results with each, in different systems
They already left for most of them. They just say what the people wants them to say. They are not and will not be affected by the vote of sunday, no matter who wins it.

Were they also a product of Del Bosque's system with Spain ?
Peak Xaviniesta were the core midfield of the greatest Spanish national team of all time (and one of the best overall in history), dominating the world from 2008-2012. Won a World cup and two Euros back to back.
I agree but we need something like VAR to reevaluate some yellow cards, not all of them are deserved .
Something also needs to be done about the divings, it's killing the fun of the game.
