Their primary job was to kill VP - a fodder and kiz and saturn achieved it but they haven't done anything after that.

All 5 elders were summoned after VPs death and yet they didn't put anyone down since then.


They were talking about the threat Nico, bonney and Nika possess yet didn't deliver on this threat.

I mean they are top tiers yet they are unable to overcome small obstacles as per their own strength to deliver on other objectives

• GB fighting for his life vs Momo
• GB got shook and froze from a mere CoC
• Kizaru was down easily after 1 clean hit, needed sometime off
• Kizaru cymbal diffed in 1v2,...couldn't even damage Luffy at all bar a papercut
• Kizaru couldn't hurt Franky
• Kizaru couldn't hurt Sanji really
• Kizaru didn't beat KO Bonney nor Sentomaru completely
• Gorosei are just...regen merchants , I don't even wanna list any
• Kuzan with help struggled to take down old Garp

Yes, because of his hardening. Kaido's durability was strictly df related. Topman is using the same hardening that Katakuri was using that was swelling Luffys hands everytime he hit it. He stated there was levels to hardening. This is something Luffy will have to learn in order o get through those who possess that level of hardening.

They've easily neutralised YC/Vet level dudes
Even Luffy got oneshotted by Kaido at Kuri,
