Fujitora wasnt attacking Greenbull nor was he fighting with the Revolutionaries, nothing stopped Greenbull from beating the two revos he shouldnt need to spam his fruit to do that lol.
Interestingly enough you say that this is a bad excuse but still an excuse yet you have Oda giving you the perfect excuse for why the Gorosei are just taking hits and not giving a shit, Saturn literally stated that if he felt he was in danger against Bonney he wouldve dodged. Ergo they dont really bother because they are immortal, yet here you are attributing this fact to them being bad fighters lol.

The Gorosei have strong abilities and hax but they have poor skills as combatants, expected of characters who do have such hax anyway. They’re a line of defense that storm a place as one squad and work as a unit to achieve a goal.
Maybe they were never meant to be compared to normal top tiers
If their hax stand, then normal top tiers can’t put them down
However, the Gorosei can never really put down a skilled fighter, I can only see Meme losing to a Gorosei due to how sloppy she is

I understand that immortal trope better than anyone. The issue is the gorosei were not actually given an excuse in verse, they are sweaty rn. The moment they touched down they meant business.
Having regen makes you susceptible to taking attacks, what it doesn't do is excuse you from being stalled when you are fighting for your lives.
Major fumble here from Oda. And he's not slick either like I said, we know Kizaru can't be a part of this. It would tip the scales far too much to one side. You can toss in a 6th gorosei and I honestly don't know what changes.

Saturn doing mostly nothing except for when he fought the straw hats and then he forgot he can freeze people and explode their heads, even then he was mostly in his head talking to the other Gorosei about what to do with the broadcast and when hes had enough of the straw hats he blew them away and Robin had to catch them.
Only Ghandi really displayed some combat skill by blocking Zoro and clashing with him but thats about the extent of it.
