Why lol. They are immortal. Oda already told you from Saturn first started fighting. They do not care about taking damage. Similar to how oda told us BM doesn't take damage unless it's from really strong attacks. Then proceeded to troll BM all throughout WCI and justify by saying well she not really taking damage.

85 years ago was already more than 700 years after the Void Century, why would they change their policy now when they hadn't in 700 years?

You're pointing out examples of current Ds being extremely troublesome for the World Government, so that's an argument against the point you're making of the WG suddenly not caring that much about Ds.

Regarding Garp, you can use whatever you want as an excuse: it doesn't hold up, as mentioned in the post you're quoting.

I swear it really just shows you dumb some people here are, they don't understand something called plot and are way too focused on the power level.

If Oda had Nusjuro easily kill Atlas in one attack, he would then be getting very close to the Thousand Sunny after that.

Oda had to use Atlas to keep Nusjuro away, so that way the Straw Hats can easily escape.

It's that simple but some people here are unfortunately a bunch of meatheads.

26 years ago? Weren’t both fucking Dragon and Garp marines? There were two openly named D clan members in the marines… How come they weren’t killed?

Didn’t the government also just recently let Marshall D TEACH into Mariejois as a warlord?

Fucking Oda can’t even remember what his own world building is… no single marine or even Gorosei has ever mentioned they actively go hunting for Ds… ever…

Imu not long ago was saying he doesn’t even give a shit about the Ds since they themselves don’t know their own history

For the sake of shoehorning the D nonsense to make super special Oda has forgotten his own story… reminds me of a certain Nika
