At this point... the natural way for Oda to introduce these guys, if he's going to use them, is though Cross Guild, right?

Cross Guild is very attractive to Bounty Hunter/Underworld types because it allows them to get work and work under a powerful umbrella, without having to sell themselves out fully. Like, the New Giant Pirates just straight up left.

Blackbeard wants allegiance; he'll let you do what you want, to a certain extent, but only if you're powerful.

Cross Guild gives Underworld operatives a huge means of making money without sacrificing autonomy.

This series doesn't need more side characters. Don't give Loda ideas.

I legit have never seen a man in as much need of creative oversight as Oda in my life I swear to god. Somebody, ANYBODY, smack that man over the head once in a while and tell him to stop teasing! Egghead could have been SO peak if Oda just started to stop doing his usual bullshit man!

Why is this guy STILL doing Silhouette piece?

Lock in the character design already man! It was one thing to do this pre-skip with people like Kaido when, fair enough, he would not properly showcase the character for like ten years after name dropping them and thus did not want to lock in to hard. (And STILL massively changed the Silhouette desing but whatever)

But we are in the final saga. Why not just show Shanks brother? Why not just show Imu already? Its straight up ridiculous at this stage!

Remember when silhouette piece still made sense? that was in pre TS. The Oden flashback should gave taught you that the silhouetting is bound to get worse, Clownda could essentially draw a whole chapter with every character in silhouette in the final chapter and reveal their design in the databook that releases 1 year later when he has finally made up his mind.
