Yes, I did say that.

I'm close to the marxist ideology. So if I had to choose between leninism and troskysm, I would rather be a troskyst since my knowledge of the movement (which is not great) depicts it has a much more democratic and plurial current.

But overall, and maybe this is my lack of knowledge on the subject that prevent me to see that, but I feel like communism and the seek for socialism (the ideal classless society for Marx) lacks a failsafe to prevent people like Staline or Mao to arrive in power.

We cannot allow the massacre of our political ennemies or the oppression of the population in any case. Also, I have reserves on the dictature of the proleteriat, a one unique party seems to be a very dangerous and risky approach even tho I understand its necessity for the working class to rise above the bourgeoisie.

That's why although I may be very radical and I may lean someday toward either anarchist or communist ideals, I'm still a reformist.
As I understand it Trotskysts have this weird thing. They're in favour of democracy but also in favour of having a chef at the same time. Maybe it's more transparent than tyrannical communism but this doesn't look good enough for how I see it. With that said, I'm not a specialist of trotsky and his followers. But it seems like a "direct democracy" with "free media" (not the propriety of billionaires) is the good way to go.

She’s awkward as shit and a creature of Washington. But she polls better than Biden.
I believe they will go with her because their big dogs will refuse the position because they understand the chance of losing is high and it will slash their future chances. So, they will kill two birds with one stone, let Kamala lose & be rid of her. Then the next one go with someone like Newsome. It's too much of a political risk for anyone with big aspirations to take.

I have been really busy this week, so I didn't get to react to stuff happening as it did.

But the Trump assassination attempt and his reaction afterwards, with his fist pumped up is gonna be remembered as the moment he won this election.

I think Trump would've beaten Biden either way, but after what I just mentioned and the debate where Biden walked out the weaker candidate? Its pretty much a lock-in for Trump.

DNC take the blame as they didnt find a proper alternative for 4 years. Now they have less than 4 months to go until election day.

It’s 100% their fault. But they won’t learn from this. They’ll do something similar in the near future and then blame the voters for it.

Robert F Kennedy Jr. is offering someone a chance to sail and have dinner with him. I honestly would register to win but, I don't feel safe hanging out with anyone who might be deemed a threat to Democrats.

Joking I'm not that big on conspiracy theories.

Yes, but we would still live understand capitalism that oppresses Billions.

I'm not a specialist either. I know that Troskysm is simply for the constant revolution (a revolution until everythings has been set) opposed to leninism that aims for the dictature of the proletariat first. The revolution process looks a lot more democratic for me (for ex, when we look at the french revolution, this was an age of proliferation of discussion and debate all over the country).

In anycase, there is a moment where the reformist system won't be enough anymore. Unless we manage to arrive to perfection through politics, which will never happen with rightist people.

There will be the need for something better. I can't really judge communism right now since I'm really not that well educated on the subject and I do not believe that anarchism is really faisableL So.. Yeah.

I'm in between. I want to know more.

It reads...
JUST IN: California judge rules that teachers were right to punish a 7-year-old girl who wrote ‘ANY LIFE’ over a Black Lives Matter drawing because ‘she’s too young to have First Amendment rights.’

The first grader at Viejo Elementary in Orange County was banned from recess and drawing pictures after she added the words "any life" below "Black Lives Matter" on a picture she drew and gave to a black friend School principal.

Jesus Becerra told B.B. her drawing was inappropriate and racist He also made her publicly apologize and banned her from recess and drawing pictures for two weeks.

The girl's family filed a lawsuit against the Capistrano Unified School District, claiming her First Amendment rights were violated in the 2021 incident.

US Central District Court Judge David Card ruled that “students have the right to be free from speech that denigrates their race while at school”.

Judge Card said that the drawing was not protected by the First Amendment because of the girl’s age Judge Card wrote: 'An elementary school … is not a marketplace of ideas... Thus, the downsides of regulating speech there is not as significant as it is in high schools, where students are approaching voting age and controversial speech could spark conducive conversation.' 'a parent might second-guess (the principal’s) conclusion, but his decision to discipline B.B. belongs to him, not the federal courts.' Card added that 'Undoubtedly, B.B.'s intentions were innocent...

B.B. testified that she gifted the Drawing to M.C. to make her feel comfortable after her class learned about Martin Luther King Jr.'

I didn't really understand what she was trying to convey which made me lose confidence in my English skills :josad:
Politicians have the skill to keep talking without saying anything. It makes them look like they are saying something

However if you talk to a person like that when you have a specific issue to address, they'll often deviate from the topic and get lost in their own speech. Which means you need to keep them on track if you ever speak to one.

I think I will watch the democrat convention this year to see if it feels as human as this one has. I don't dislike Don Jr or Tucker Carlson after listening to them anymore, but I still loathe Marjorie Taylor Greene... but I think only an act of God would change that one.
