Attacking the Capitol is pitiful though :kuzanope:
It was pitiful everyone agrees to that, but most people understand it was the idiots who did it fault not Trumps.

I don't think many americans even see it as one of those events, where they could tell you where they were and what they were doing when it happened.

Have you looked into what he did? He didn't check for election fraud. He was outright demanding officials to make up ballots in his name. Just listen to the video I shared

Um no he's not allowed to say what he wants. The president is never allowed to do whatever he wants LMAO. You're being insane here.
Which video?

He is *allowed* to. I didn’t say it was wise to, I called it a mistake since he has a hold over a lot of silly people.

That phone call was not « checking » for fraud

it was asking the guy to find him some votes for him to win

and yes still saying 4 years later that the former election was stolen is dangerous and anti democratic
It radicalized Trumps guys and American society as a whole. It’s dangerous
What about them saying Trump stole it in 2016 and them still saying it today?

What about them saying Trump stole it in 2016 and them still saying it today?
Didn’t know about that

But if they are doing this it’s also really dangerous.

if the election was fair and if the system of voting in the country is respected accusing the other party to steal the election only create radicalism and it’s really really dangerous. People thinking the democratic system d’isnt working anymore and voting isn’t working anymore can lead them thinking violence/strength is the solution

I mean did you miss the part where the guy who won in 2016 did attempt to overturn our elections
Antifa caused all the damage. The same cunts who did the "summer of love" - "firey but mostly peaceful protests".

You guys keep failing at basic reading comprehension and fact checking. Go watch the damn videos about j6, all of them. And until you can explain why the magnetic door was released to let people in better shut up or you will look stupid and uninformed.

Yes a lot of people still say that. Hilary herself still says it every chance she finds an opening.

He's a bad loser. He doesn't like to lose

Obviously he shouldn't have done those things but people who acted were more crazy and responsible...

His act of defending them is bad. His statements were bad. But it still doesn't make him Hitler.

Media/Hollywood/Democrats keep on calling Trump a Hitler and threat to democracy and needs to be punched. Someone even enacted the act of his death.

There were riots after 2016 election results declared Trump winner.

And, some people in rallies did try to attack Trump. No one cared. Only this time it became big deal because someone tried to assassinate him.

Does this sound democratic to you?

phone call above

by that logic I am allowed to punch a random kid on the street lmao
No, that’s not even similar logic, that’s physical violence, and claiming the election was stolen is an opinion that sadly made people way too upset.

You can argue that Trump’s words are way too powerful and I will agree. It still did not move a functioning republican democracy an inch.

Rules for thee and not for me.

You're so fucking brainwashed LMAO
Large majority were just walking through the halls. Since when is mere walking terrorism? You are brainwashed. You gave zero counter arguments and are acting purely emotional.

He made a mistake at the time that made some clowns overreact massively, though he tried to take it back the same afternoon. It’s bad, but I hold the rioters even more responsible for their actions - like every adult should.

It’s a far far cry from “democracy dying”.
Some clowns overreact?

There's some dodgy scenes for every area of the capitol "riot". Some random masked men smashing the windows to create one of the entries. When confronted by republicans there they got aggressive. Who were those? They looked like masked cops / security.

Police remove barriers to allow people to get closer to the building also doesn't make sense. Police were even waving them to go in.

Trump asked for people to march on the capitol because he didn’t recognized his loss and the result of democratic elections

He can say what he wants about it being peaceful or patriotic etc the fact is the same, he heated a crowd and asked them to march against the capitol to protest against democratic results : it is anti democratic and there was a huge risk of it going south

there is no excuses to find for him

Yeah, if calling “election fraud” is dangerous and anti democracy that radicalises, calling Trump Hitler very much is as well.

Both parties do it :josad:

Though I think the two party system is completely ingrained and there have never been any problems with “democracy” for real.

Oh yeah I forgot you need to cite *God Emperor Trump

Fucking lunatic :suresure:

It wasn't just "one time", he was attempting to change the election results in several states the months preceding Jan 6.

Also how can you call it a mistake when to this day he acts as if the election was stolen?
Stopping the vote count officially, but then bringing out some luggage with votes from under a table, what's that about?
Nobody can refute all the incriminating videos. 2000 mules is one example.

Way too lazy to go in real depth here
But quickly ;

Many things are wrong here

- First real wrong thing is putting the Israel / Palestine conflict as a center in the European campaign. 70 or 80% of LFI program/campaign during EU election was about Israel and Palestine. WTF was that ? You can obviously talk about conflicts in the world but as much ? For a conflict far from Europe and having no link with the actual election ? it’s unprecedented
But should they stay silent about ongoing massacres because the European Parliamant cannot directly impact Netanyahu ? You say 70-80% of "program/campaign", I assume you mean time of speech and whatnot. I'm curious about these stats but LFI basically judged that the massacres were a priority.

And bringing this conflict as much as they did divided the population, raised the tension to the max, put the Jewish population at risks ( and the number of antisemitic acts rised/is rising tenfold)
It rised indeed, but LFI has a anti-Netanyahu stance and not anti-Jewish. This can be backed by the International Criminal Court that Israel and the crazy people around them are calling "antisemitic".

And they talked about this conflict without any nuance, without any second thoughts, creating polarization
What second thoughts should be given at "stop the bombings" ?

And the worst is they obviously did that to please their base and attract muslims and suburbs votes. They promote communitarism.
This may attract muslim votes. This is politics. But you don't have to be a muslim to ask to stop the massacre of thousands of civilians.

While at the same time you can find videos of Melenchon about Russia or China defending their invasions or finding excuses.
Mélenchon had a tricky position with Russia yes. But wars aren't bombings of so many civilians that I forgot the count of...

- the way they justified and almost promoted the act of Hamas during the 7th October. It was only « resistance », it was acceptable, it was not terrorism etc etc. You can find some posts that are terrible. How can a Republican Party say that kind of things ? During the NFP deal and creation the biggest point of deal was to know if Hamas was or not a problem ? LOL. They wrote that they didn’t to work on their antisemitism Lool
They should have called it a terrorist attack more. But history shows us that many resistance groups especially during decolonization have attacked civilians too. With that said, Hamas is a terrorist organization that was helped by Netanyahu to shut down Fatah. It's Netanyahu that pushed them. Because he wanted to divide the opposition and justify the violence.

92% of the Jewish community thinks LFI is a big problem and I even know lots of Jewish people wanting to vote Le Pen instead of LFI if they had that choice. It’s a fucking new low and whose fault is that once again ??
It's the fault of far-right wing Israelis hating arabs and muslims more than anything. I know Jewish people too, some are anti-Netanyahu and I love them but those who told me "we're gonna exterminate all the fucking Gazaoui" have lost their fucking minds to Netanyahu their hateful-god in chief.

Rima Hassan is an other problem and the same too. Putting her front row for the EU election was nuts. Once again putting the conflict at the center of an election that had no link at all. She maybe did 70% of the talking during the campaign. Once again because politically LFI wanted to make things ablaze.
Basically "She talks too much" :choppawhat:

And putting her at the front row once again didn’t allow to talk rationally about this conflict and didn’t allow to calmly analyzing things and not just putting people against the others.
Are you saying this isn't rational and can't be calm because she's from Palestine ? Just like some are saying certain politicians can't be "objective due to their religion (Jewish)" ?

Not a word about comedians being fired for comparing Hitler to Netanyahu ?

Fuck didn’t think about that….
You're cooked:arnoling:

Winners write history, but that doesn't change reality.

It's dangerous to expose the truth? Mass media censorship took place back then in case you forgot. Any counterarguments constantly silenced.

Asking for protest is not unusual though. Protests are the pinnacle of democracy since the creation of democracy.

But ya, I think he made a mistake there in the approach and handled it badly

Trump has yet to answer for a lot of things he did, which ones in particular is debatable. The opposition is far worse though and many don't realise it.

However he's obviously self-centered and I don't know any politician who isn't same way, it's just that only Trumps mistakes get green and yellow marker highlight. He said "let's go together and march peacefully", they didn't go together.

The crowd was constantly let closer and closer onto the capitol, barriers were literally removed to let people get in closer. What shit policing is that? Even waving at the crowd to get closer. Magnetic door was literally turned off to allow people to get in. Police stepped aside and watched people walk in. For most part people were just walking and arrested or fined just for that.

Since when is walking through a building funded by taxpayers a crime? Then Trump started calling out every J6er like they were to be blamed alone. Had Trump marched with the crowd or sat in front of the capitol giving a speech then there would be no sense for the crowd to get closer.

A lot of the J6ers who have done literally nothing apart from walking were rotting in jail.

RayanOO is french right? As far as I am aware french are protesting all the time about something. Just a fact. It's all sorts of protests, can't even remember them all, some are counter-protests.
