Trump asked for people to march on the capitol because he didn’t recognized his loss and the result of democratic elections
He can say what he wants about it being peaceful or patriotic etc the fact is the same, he heated a crowd and asked them to march against the capitol to protest against democratic results : it is anti democratic and there was a huge risk of it going south
there is no excuses to find for him
Trump has yet to answer for a lot of things he did, which ones in particular is debatable. The opposition is far worse though and many don't realise it.
However he's obviously self-centered and I don't know any politician who isn't same way, it's just that only Trumps mistakes get green and yellow marker highlight. He said "let's go together and march peacefully", they didn't go together.
The crowd was constantly let closer and closer onto the capitol, barriers were literally removed to let people get in closer. What shit policing is that? Even waving at the crowd to get closer. Magnetic door was literally turned off to allow people to get in. Police stepped aside and watched people walk in. For most part people were just walking and arrested or fined just for that.
Since when is walking through a building funded by taxpayers a crime? Then Trump started calling out every J6er like they were to be blamed alone. Had Trump marched with the crowd or sat in front of the capitol giving a speech then there would be no sense for the crowd to get closer.
A lot of the J6ers who have done literally nothing apart from walking were rotting in jail.

Asking for protest is not unusual though. Protests are the pinnacle of democracy since the creation of democracy.
But ya, I think he made a mistake there in the approach and handled it badly
RayanOO is french right? As far as I am aware french are protesting all the time about something. Just a fact. It's all sorts of protests, can't even remember them all, some are counter-protests.
