Soul related abilities can't exist because it adds in a entirely new power system to this existing cluster of power system we have. And somehow only a few specific individuals having those abilities breaks the story consistency.
The only 2 cases we have are because of a DF and even those don't go too deep in soul abilities.

Kaido feeling odens presence from both. It’s why the scabbards could cut him and why enma was reacting to kaido’s presence
