Is the part with Yamato saying to Luffy that he's more Oden than she could ever be true?

we need to see the context. She says that bcs she got handcuffs that'll explode if she dares to leave the island. She wanted to be like Oden, to set sail on the sea and witness the world. Oden was a free man that did anything he wants to do and accomplished so many things... so to her Luffy is closer to Oden bcs he's a free man that's able to do whatever he wants, not chained up and isolated in an island like her.

In the chapter in which she appeared first, it looked like she has some kind of tattoo on her leg. like similar to what Kaido has on his arm. But it also might be Oda's drawing.
