where is the actual rule for an unchallenged incumbent dropping out for there to be a new election to select a new candidate.
you say its panic it has to be ,
you cant have a primary for a general election in 3 months . this so called process of selecting a new nominee in these unique circumstances is bullshit people are pulling out of their ass. There isnt a process for it.
[automerge]1722121562[/automerge]

no step was skipped
again there isnt a process. proposing that should be the process is one thing, arguing like that is the process is a flat out lie.
There is literally no rule that would give the VEEP an upper hand at an open convention. They have to win the majority of delegates, just like any other candidate.

What are unique circumstances Lanji, Biden could have quit a long time ago :josad:

Eh i doubt they would run someone else.

As much as i think Pete would be great president he needs a VP position first. And if Pete needs that then no other Democrat can have a real shot at presidency.

Kamala has most "experience" out of them all and she is defacto tied to Biden and his ballot.

I do think Pete or Kelly should be her VP
I think it was just an elaborate plan, having the debate super early, kicking Biden out with that pretext, and then handing it down to Kamala in a hurry and getting all the campaign money.

Pete would be ok, would be nice to have some young people there :josad:

Thats the point though nat, It is not an open convention, you know when it was an open convention ?almost 2 years ago and they united as a party behind biden. He didnt drop out so they endorsed him and his vp candidate with the risk of knowing at any point if the 80 yr old man croaks, kamala his vp would be the seat.

The unique circumstances are biden didnt quit a long time ago
he quit after he was the chosen candidate with 3 months to the general election.
am not sure what people are so worried about
if she isnt a viable candidate
people wouldnt turn up for her on election day.

Yeah, I know it's not an open convention, which is the whole point. Read my post to Adam above ^

I'm not personally worried, just very entertained, especially when seeing these tweets :milaugh:

Again. Transphobia is the act of discrimination against trans people. Weither by word or by actions.

You can think you don't like trans people, but saying it or saying for example "trans women are not women", is simply transphobic. It perpetuates discriminations and makes you complicit in them.

This is not a debate.
Stating "again" while being in the wrong isn't gonna make you anymore right. Transphobia is the discrimination of trans people based on fear. Please stop misusing it. There is a reason "phobia" is added at end of the word.

No you can state Trans women are not women to you and be perfectly fine. That is neither discriminatory or transphobic. Just as I can state Islam is wrong in majority of the things and be perfectly fine, which is neither discriminatory or Islamophobic.

You're correct it is not a debate, which leads me to wonder why you're trying to turn this into one, instead of accepting you were wrong and keeping it moving lol.

Yes you do.
OR
You don't talk about them or to any person about them and in that case, there is indeed no problem.
Everybody has the right to talk about any way of life whether it be religion, sexual choices, or any other things related to human life that effect not only the individual but also human society in general. That is not the equivelent of hate speech.

"I don't believe transgender women are women, but simply men who're trying to be women", discussed between two individuals who're trying to have a discussion on viewpoints is not discriminatory.

Somebody yelling and or stating "fuck trans people, trans people suck, etc etc", derogatory terms directed with malice intent at transfolks is hate speech and will likely lead to discrimination.

Since you claim that you need to accept other ideas in order to not discriminate against them... then I expect you to go to the mosque regularly and pray 5 times a day, otherwise you are an Islamophobe.

Yes it does.

I do not believe, but I have no right to negate the right of other to believe or even say that others should not be able to believe.
Cool, then please provide a record of you praying on a daily basis and going to churches + temples + mosques on a regular basis to practice Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism and all other ideas... that you need to accept in order to not discriminate against them.

Not accepting something =/= negating the rights of others. You keep trying to equate two things that are separate continuously, for what reason?

We are talking about discrimination here. Meaning not accepting people for who they are.

There is no debate to have. If you depict such behavior against trans people, you are transphobic.

Period.
You're not willing to accept somebody for being transphobic... even though that's who they are. Why? Because their beliefs go against yours.

Discrimination is not the idea of not accepting people for who they are. It is showing biases towards some people over others on various basis (gender, race, sexual orientation, hair color so on and so forth) in job/systems/social settings/etc aka unjust treatment.

Correct, there is no debate to have because you're not even using terminology properly in order to have a debate, but throwing around words emotionally in aiming to defend people that need no defense from my post or the other homie's.
No. It does the opposite. Its targets specifically the discrimination in order to fight it more effectively.
Nope, it's just borderline hate speech against individuals you're targeting to create pointless arguments.

I said that you shared transphobic rethoric. Which is not exactly the same thing in the specific context that we were in.
Xione, on the other hand, was transphobic.
He didn't share any transphobic rhetoric.

You're more than welcomed to continue to call me transphobic, it matters not a single ounce to me. Since you're just throwing around terms for your weird agenda feel free to use Islamophobic, christianphobic, buddhistphobic, frenchphobic, westphobic, shintophobic, leftphobic, rightphobic any other phobic you can think of... it'll cause a big change.

I can't believe people take Logiko seriously enough to be having whole debates with him and writing paragraphs about how wrong he is.
I argue with Logiko purely to entertain me when I have nothing else to do. Dude ain't worth the time to write essays about his political beliefs

Yes it's futile, but I'm happy people keep doing it cause it keeps the thread hilarious :ihaha::risiup::risitavirus:

Can we just agree everyone here hates French?

Even French hate other French, esp ones outside of Paris
Nope, went to France for a month, loved the people I met for the most part. The women in particular were nice, got invited to house parties, most of the dudes I met were chill as well. Probably will be going back to Paris again next year, good vibes for vacation.

Just their airports suck and filled with scammers, so initial experience might be complete shit like getting scammed for 200 euros by a taxi driver.

Are you an historian on Nazi germany?
No, but i'm from germany and had a interest in history since early childhood, so of course i read and watched a lot about Nazi Germany and plan to study history next year after some rough years in life to say the least. I'm gonna focus my study more on east asian history tho.

Jesus people treat the French like demons for some reason. The fuck did they do?
It is just a meme amongst the Europeans. Same as us always hating England during every football game or assuming Germans have no sense of humor
