Everytime a character sensed another’s Haki they mention the Haki.
In the case of Zuneisha she said Joyboy is back when Luffy went into G5 for the first time and came back to life with the drums of liberation were what triggered her reaction. No mention of Joyboys Haki or anything.
In Emeths case, the same thing happened Luffy went G5 we see the Doom doom Tu Tu SFX and then Emeth wakes up. We also see Emeth active even though Luffy is in base form. Again no mention of Haki, hes just mistaking G5 Luffy for Joyboy because he heard the drums.
We have learned that Emeth had some of Joyboys haki stored inside of him.
He cant have stored his Haki inside Luffy because he was long dead before Luffy was born.
He cant have stored his Haki in his fruit because to do that he would need to actually be dead for the fruit to reincarnate into another fruit.
Some people told me that the fruit has a will of its own and will is Haki, then you may argue its Nika Haki and not Joyboys but even then other translations say that Zoan fruits have a mind of their own. Meaning they are somewhat sentient.
Zoan fruits all have this property not just the Nika fruit, therefore its baseless to assume the Nika fruit gave Luffy Haki when other Zoan fruit didnt do it to their owners.
There really is no argument for Luffy having inherited Joyboys Haki, his Haki is his own. The only thing they have in common is that they share the same fruit.
