Garp was rolling with Bogard and some fodder marines vs Roger's pk level crew and still was able to corner and draw with Roger.

Way different situations.

Actually the only ones we have seen do so far are the Gorosei. From the room of authority to egghead.
Kuma can travel fast but it isn’t instantaneously either and Van augur probably can’t do it either as he needs a ship to travel to egghead.

Garp with his fleet cornering Roger pirates countless times doesn't make him equal to Roger as fighter

"We tried to kill each other" doesn't mean they went all out EVERY TIME or that the fight was always 1vq
