Yeah, Zoro is a cool character, but at the end of the day he is still only an extension of LOda's will as the author, and is subject to his terrible writing, just like everyone else. LOda didn't even have the decency to give him a full S-Hawk or Nasjuro fight and instead waste panel time on fighting some swordless cat whose relevance died out 15 years ago and was only brought back for quick nostalgia merchandising.

Oda did not even waste panel on that fight and why would people think Zoro would get a full S-Hawk or Nasjuro fight?
This arc has no full fight it has been short fight just like marineford you saw this very early in the arc or even with Luffy vs Kizaru .
