So in the end, unless Saturn continues to try to do something or Kizaru betrays the WG (which seems unlikely now), the arc is pretty much over. Next chapter will answer that question though.
And here we are back to the comments we were making a year ago, but Ill say them again: Saturn needed to live in order to deliver the mother flame to Imu. That is his directive. If Kuma and/or Bonney actually end up joining (imo Kuma is not dead and will recover; he has a very thorough strawhat-esque flashback), then they can close that loop on Saturn down the line.
I am curious about Stussy, Sentoumaru and Kizaru though. This arc feels extremely Zou like in the sense that it was a plot dump exposition with no true antagonist to lose against. A bit weird considering it didnt actually close a villain arc here (neither Saturn nor Kizaru). But again, we'l see how the next 1-2 chapters go. I assume we'll be in Elbaf or "Warland" by 1125 or 1126.
Overall though, outside of lore Im not too happy with this arc, lots of meandering. Zoro fighting a redundant villain was pointless. Exposition for the Gorosei was cool but again, nothing happened with them. Cant even describe my personal disappointment for the Marines there though lol. I guess they'll all be in Akainu's main force, but they wont get any screentime at this point anymore (except Kizaru).
I really hope Elbaf ups the focus. It better be about this 4th RP and the Burned Scar Man. Imagine spending another 4 years there and that doesnt get resolved lol...
