The world shock is probably just Vegapunk is dead and the fact that the world is sinking. Thats it.
People like always are just falling for the editors bs hype.:milaugh:

It's like how back in Wano, the editors said a scene made them cry and it turns out that scene was just Momo's speech.

Also the cope I'm seeing for Saturn will still get defeated/killed, is the same cope that happened back during the ending of Wano when some thought that Kaido wasn't truly defeated and that he would return.:suresure:

It is not, don't get started you too

I will not die on the hill that what I said will happen, however the arc is not over yet so let's be patient before assuming anything is all that I'm saying

Imagine having no argument than a 2 year old theory?

Anyway to join you on this train, I did guess right that the legendary fruit was Luffy's back in chapter 1037 when the fruit rename was mentioned for the first time (people were saying it was Tama's or Zunesha's). I also did guess that Luffy would awaken his Devil Fruit in Wano and that would be his Gear 5, even before chapter 1037 (people were saying that Luffy would awaken it against Blackbeard at the time). I also kept telling that Luffy would be the one to defeat Kaido, and that the arc would finish with Kaido's defeat (people thought that Zoro would finish him off or that Kid/Law would team up with Luffy). Also guessed right that the fruit had a tie with Nika and that it was the reason it was legendary.

So yes, Mr Resin PDF did just say this, now shut the fuck up and be patient.
Ever heard of “don’t throw stones in a glass house”?

I didn’t make an argument, I just pointed out that you’re the last person to accuse someone of the shit you accused me of.

You couldn't be wronger, @Roo @Reborn this applies to you as well

Now just wait patiently to see what is the "shocking incident" ;)

I'm also quoting @CoC: Color of Clowns @Dragon777 and @Sir Yasheen so they just follow on this

My issue is this:

Is the "Egghead Incident" supposed to be shocking to US, or the One Piece world itself?

During Vegapunk's announcement half of the people in this forum were openly yawning at the redundant information, while the characters in the series were all losing their damn minds.

Vegapunk being killed IN THEORY is a major incident. BUT, the only reason people KNOW Vegapunk died, is because of the Broadcast.

So, I have to believe the Broadcast is the Egghead Incident itself, that shakes the world of One Piece, while WorstGen whines about a lack of plot progress. Vegapunk dying would have changed the world, sure.

The foremost scientist in the world saying the world is about to flood, proving it, and then stating after that history is a giant lie, the only people who knew the real history were Roger and his crew THE PIRATE KING, and that whoever finds the One Piece will control the future is just NUTS.

I have viewed this arc as an amalgamation of Ohara, Sabaody, and Marineford: a dying legend, on an island full of ancient history, trying to flee while Kizaru and Kuma cause problems all over the place.

Egghead subverts Ohara by making it so the Giants protect the Ancient History, rather than falling to the Navy (Saul vs Aokiji). Rather than leave her mother behind, like Robin, Bonney takes her father, Kuma, with her.

Egghead subverts Marineford by making it so that the legend who reveals the One Piece lives on directly (Lilith survived to continue the Stella's legacy thanks to Atlas and Edison's sacrifices), rather than dies. In Marineford an Admiral kills a young man he hates, who is trying to protect an old man. In Egghead an Admiral kills an old man he's friends with, who is trying to protect a young woman (Vegapunk and Ace both die from wounds through their chest from behind).

Sabaody was supposed to lead to the Straw Hats going to Fishman Island, but, ended with Kuma teleporting the Straw Hats away from a man made of light (light's greatest weakness is gravity/magnetic force). Here, the Straw Hats have escaped the arc with Kuma while leaving Kizaru behind, and, like with Sabaody, seem set to go to the arc teased by the characters they met; Sabaody had Fish-Men leading the Straw Hats to Fish-Man island, while now the Giants are leading them to Elbaf. The central character to be rescued is a teenage girl who has been held captive by the WG, who are connected to a race hated by the WG (Bonney and Camie).

Egghead will subvert Sabaody by having the opposite of Kizaru: Gravity, or, Uranus, keep the Straw Hats from escaping. Kuma in Sabaody was an enemy who was secretly an ally. S-Bear is an enemy, who will become an ally thanks to Bonney, and teleport the crew from Uranus.

This allows Bonney and the Seraphim to have a legit narrative end to this arc. I think Oda is saving Saturn for later, for Bonney to fight in the future (Luffy already proved Saturn is too weak to touch him in a fight).

IMO, this gives Saturn and Kizaru a natural conclusion as well:

Imu is a genocidal bastard, and the Marines this arc SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKED ASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

GOD

THE MARINES

SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKED

ASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

I think Imu is going to order Saturn to tell Kizaru to help him clean up all the Marines on the island who are below Vice Admiral. Maybe even the Vice Admirals. We haven't seen Doberman/Hound/Urban/Guillotine do jack shit this arc.

We know Saturn is willing to kill Marines who fail him and don't follow orders. Imu is a petulant man-child cooming over Vivi's great-great-great-great grandma screaming about Joy Boy. Imu can't get to Luffy right now, so? Take it out on the Marines who failed Imu.

Kizaru vs Saturn.

Huh. Bonney could turn Kuma into Nika-Kuma to teleport away from Uranus...

I've believed a crazy scientist would blow up the Mother Flame as both of Vegapunk's other labs have been blown up by crazy scientists (Caesar and Franky) most of this arc.

S-Bear teleporting all the Marines and Cipher Pol off the island after Saturn's nukes accidentally blew up the Mother Flame to save them from the explosion would be a cool God Valley callback to Kuma's Paws of Liberation saving all those slaves.

Consider that for the HK we may he his other son (?):

Or viceversa anyway, his son new Gorosei and him head of the HK.
Is that the lurking legend?

So much random unanswered shit, it's getting ridiculous. We got Burning Scar man, we got Holy Knights, we got Lurking Legend, we got Xebec...

Can we just read a normal manga and have characters presented to us instead of ink smears?

I am guessing (personal opinion) it's the One Piece world itself, because it shook the world of One Piece.

Anyway @Roo @Reborn @DarkWitch and the others

It is entirely possible it's just that and that the arc finishes with this, don't get me wrong and I couldn't care less if Saturn is not defeated this arc, I will take the L when the time comes

However, we all know that the arc is not properly concluded yet, we barely saw the SHs escaping and we all know that "SH escape" is not always that easy, just look at what happened after Thriller Bark, after Sabaody and after Whole Cake Island

Furthermore, if we take into account what that editor said, the "shocking incident" has yet to happen

So all I'm saying is "be patient"

Why the forum full of Oda Wanker ?
Its full trash chapters, but we get told that Worstgen can not read ?
Stay on reddit please
Why do people show up at places they hate, rather than going somewhere the fuck else?

Did you just manage to ask why people who like One Piece are on a One Piece forum?

Loooooooooooool snort grass

Sorry not everyone likes hate-reading series, oi. I mock One Piece all the time, I'm just not full of enough shit to bitch at other people for liking what I don't.

One Piece is a worse product than it was during Marineford, but I still like it. Sorry? I'm sorry we don't hate One Piece?

I'm a Robin Wanker, not an Oda Wanker, there's a big difference.

The definition of "shocking" is kinda wacky

All I can tell you is that the news of the world and the Egghead Incident don't inflict the same kind of shock, the wording is different in Japanese, it's not the same terms.

The Egghead Incident is literally said to cause a "shock", 衝撃 = shock/impact. You even have shokku (ショック) in the narrator box, which is both a physical and emotional shock

The truth of the world on the other hand you have "驚くと思うが" which means "I think (you/someone) will be surprised, but..." This is more focused on the expectation of surprise rather than the immediate impact, the shock.

So based on this, the "shocking incident" can't be the truth of the world

2 weeks
if nothing major happens in 1123 I'd give it up

What happens after those arcs you mention is an after effect of previous arc, which happens either way since the world is connected.

I do want and expect something, however it might be just grimacing from One Piece chars. Marines killing Saturn would be interesting, but maybe they just die to Saturn, who knows.

@All
Why is everyone keep saying Kizaru vs Saturn. We got Lucci and Kaku on the island, both are awakened DF users. WTF? We don't even have a confirmed or unconfirmed awakening for Kizaru.

I won't be surprised if that big incident if true turns out to be a news "Saturn/an elder is missing" shocking the whole one piece world and that's it
Catarina: "Don't worry guys, it's me."
Mars: "...How can we be sure."
Catarina: "...Uh... humans are insects and must be crushed when they grow too rebellious."
Ju Peter: "Oh, good, it's really you, Saturn. We were really worried. Want to play Human Hunt 6 on the Vegacube?"

Wait, Blackbeard is just going to have Catarina commit horrible atrocities as Saturn, in order to ruin the WG's reputation, right? Imagine Catarina destroys an entire kingdom affiliated with the WG, and there's footage of it?
