What happened to Imu at the end subtly implies that the Elders are not mythical zoans but are extension of whatever power he possessed. I mean, the one directly hit by Joyboy's haki were the Elders and yet, he's the one who suffered the recoil.
The Egghead Incident is literally said to cause a "shock", 衝撃 = shock/impact. You even have shokku (ショック) in the narrator box, which is both a physical and emotional shock
The truth of the world on the other hand you have "驚くと思うが" which means "I think (you/someone) will be surprised, but..." This is more focused on the expectation of surprise rather than the immediate impact, the shock.

It was a called a "chain" of incidents:
-A buster call failing
-The greatest scientist in the world dying
- The revelation the world will sink into the sea
-The fate of the world will be reliant on whoever finds the one piece.
Why do people show up at places they hate, rather than going somewhere the fuck else?
Did you just manage to ask why people who like One Piece are on a One Piece forum?
Loooooooooooool snort grass
Sorry not everyone likes hate-reading series, oi. I mock One Piece all the time, I'm just not full of enough shit to bitch at other people for liking what I don't.
One Piece is a worse product than it was during Marineford, but I still like it. Sorry? I'm sorry we don't hate One Piece?
I'm a Robin Wanker, not an Oda Wanker, there's a big difference.
Catarina: "Don't worry guys, it's me."
Mars: "...How can we be sure."
Catarina: "...Uh... humans are insects and must be crushed when they grow too rebellious."
Ju Peter: "Oh, good, it's really you, Saturn. We were really worried. Want to play Human Hunt 6 on the Vegacube?"
Wait, Blackbeard is just going to have Catarina commit horrible atrocities as Saturn, in order to ruin the WG's reputation, right? Imagine Catarina destroys an entire kingdom affiliated with the WG, and there's footage of it?
It's more likely for Catarina to impersonate in a way to incriminate Saturn. But even then Saturn can communicate long distance, so as long as Saturn is alive the copy ability is pointless.
It's only useful if BB pirates can fake an incident while Saturn is away and make it so that Imu wants to punish Saturn after 10+ chapters finally getting that small plot resolution.
@comrade I enjoyed talking with you. I'm impressed by how intelligent Kaidou is. I suppose the epithet "Wisdom King" was not given to him lightly, after all:
Twenty years before his defeat, he predicted he would be overthrown by Joyboy, a prophecy that came true. Even Joyboy pets confuse Luffy with Joyboy, and Luffy's powers are essentially the same as Joyboy.
One reason I believe Kaidou is stronger than Roger and Whitebeard is this bold prediction about who would defeat him twenty years in the future. Kaidou is a man who constantly picks fights with other emperors and loves combat. He didn't hesitate to literally free Big Mom, who was chained up, to fight him to the death. He wasn't deterred from heading to Marineford to fight Whitebeard, despite being surrounded by enemies (the Marines), and according to reports, he also didn't mind engaging Shanks on the way to Marineford, even though he was at a tremendous numerical disadvantage (with only King by his side). Kaidou and Whitebeard were team partners, and Kaidou also met Roger, although he was a novice at God Valley. Kaidou respected Whitebeard and Roger's strength and directly told Oden that they were powerful pirates (acknowledging their strength), but that they were soft or foolish, and that Oden was like them. This implies that Oden was also strong but foolish. Therefore, Kaidou is not the arrogant type; he even has a ranking of people capable of fighting him. There are several factors that lend weight to Kaidou's statement that Joyboy would be the one to defeat him, meaning he assumed that in twenty years no one else would be capable of doing so. This assertion was supported by Oden, who said that no one else would be able to stop Kaidou. Thus, in both instances, Prime Whitebeard, who was equal to or stronger than Roger, is completely dismissed by both characters.
During his fight with Luffy, Kaidou shouted that Haki is the power that transcends everything, and we are seeing this now. The fact that stored Haki can nullify Imu powers and make him fall to his knees, even though he wasn’t literally present when the Haki explosion occurred, is absolutely insane.
An Admiral getting taken down
A preteen having control of the world's government's greatest military asset
The Gorosei's monster forms
Giants coming to support the strawhats
VP Message
And now Joyboys Yugioh trap card Haki
Every event in Egghead accumulates into what will be known far and wide has the Egghead incident
