Powers & Abilities Luffy base training

At this point luffy has already advanced extremely far in both his fruit and haki development. While he might need a bit more time to fully master them further point is he’s already a master in both

So what if his next step is just improving his base abilities next? His crew potentially helping him with that. Him not being as good or knowledgeable in any of the things to there level but still maybe a little something
With him potentially facing off opponents that can potentially negate his fruit powers like shanks and Blackbeard at least he might need to start from scratch again. Only to grow even stronger overall when it’s said and done

For example just to use the east blue recruits

1. Get the basics of swordsmanship from zoro
2. Get some martial arts tips from sanji
3. Marksman pointers from usopp
4. Lowkey lowkey if luffy gets the ability to effect the weather he can get some insight from nami
5. Etc

People definitely won’t like it and take it as a slam against the other strawhats but at the same time it’s the luffy show

Again he won’t be as good as them in their respective categories but picking up something from each of his crew to grow stronger could be cool and also be the thing that puts him on that next next level post pirate king level

He'll never max out his base that's the entire of gears 2-4. And gear five is better than anything a damn base training could possibly give.

People still don't understand. Base Luffy without his Devil Fruit will be no different when compared to Garp and Roger; they will literally be the same, and Luffy will be even stronger since his Haki will be superior. Even now, you just need to give him steroids (the appearance that Oda drew of him in the SBS, looking older).

That's why Gear 4 with a sky-splitting Haki was considered a world-class fight by the Gorosei, because Gear 4 is exactly that—it gives Luffy steroids and the physical power of Prime Garp.

Goofy’s base is still not good enough to fight top tiers even with his Advanced Haki. Wano strongly implied that when a weakened Kaido kept clowning him in G2/3 after sky-splitting Haki, and then Egghead confirmed it, hell it’s arguable he’d have trouble with the likes of Lucci without G4/5

In this manga CoC haki is everything and ODA is always giving top COC feats to luffy.

It's generally a ridiculous thing that the strawhats restrain from teaching each other stuff.
Starting with zoro getting CoA and further CoO experience in Alabasta. Or luffy copying soru in EL. Why didn't the M3 at least teach each other these kinds of things.
Serious Luffy and Zoro duels would give them impressive power ups and haki bloomings. Both have the endurance not to die from serious blow from each other.

Fucking usop haki and strength wise still being at east blue backwater village farmer level is really frustrating.
