Its a great set up arc but imo far too big for something that had no true conflict resolution. Its literally Alabasta length and nobody noteworthy actually was defeated in a way that mattered lol

Yeah,but we had a constant streak of hype events piling one after the other. This arc was to set up the final race for the One Piece. I think the Straw Hats will meet the Man Marked by the Flames in Elbaf and get the final road poneglyph there. I don't think Kidd went to Elbaf for Shanks.

Yep this arc is easily the best one when it comes to the post timeskip arcs.

So much stuff happened, the problem is that the climax was a mixed bag and there was some misses during the arc.

The problem is that right now some are just too focused on the climax.

I was completely right and you were completely wrong, I knew and said it made sense for VA's to be KO'd from it, which is why I was confused for 1122, but Oda proved me right this chapter and you wrong, accept it.

Not getting a full Luffy vs Kizaru fight was really disappointing.

I guess Oda wants a full Luffy vs Admiral fight with Akainu, and I know Akainu is a Fleet Admiral, but I still count him as part of the Admiral group.

It's just like how we never got Luffy vs Yonko fight at WCI until we got to Wano with Kaido.

Anyone has any prediction for Shanks next move? If he goes after Blackbeard, he might actually be off paneled by Ancient Weapons, that would suck ass. Best case scenario is we get to see a all out fight of the current Yonko in laught tale. Buggy could try to get in contact with Shanks. That would make for some fun panels.
