Other than Imu, I genuinely can't think of anyone who would be Dragon's hype tool unless if it's 2+ top tiers against him. His possible mythical zoan devil fruit that grants him the ability to control wind and ACoC higher than Joyboy together would make it nearly impossible to go near him.

Think for a second about what Ivankov said in Impel Down.

Whitebeard had fleets of YC1/2 level allies + Luffy's allies helping him in Marineford. Whereas, Revolutionary army is literally a one man army (Dragon) yet they're seen as the biggest threat to WG. The only strong guys are Sabo, Karasu and Morley who can be dealt with by 1 admiral.

What does that tell you?



The marines shat their bed hearing Luffy being the son despite the only threat in the Revolutionary army is Dragon. Not so much with Whitebeard where they were all confident charging through him relentlessly.

Just what kind of PTSD did he give them?



No one bats an eye when Garb talked about the Yonko but they were all shooked when he mentioned Luffy is Dragon's son.

I think this part is telling us the gap between Yonkos and Dragon.

That is what make me doubt the Dragon vs Garling

because for me Garling was introduced as a great player and won’t fall easily or in an easy fight

and Dragon can’t have an extreme diff fight before facing Imu, it wouldn’t make sense for him to arrive in front of IMU already half dead. Imu will likely beat down Dragon and this will be hype for IMU. No hype for the big bad to wipe out a barely conscious Dragon.

‘So I think Dragon will fooderize / mid diff / low high diff Topman and go after IMU and won’t fight Garling

Dragons one of the few characters who can have 2 extreme diff fights in a single arc due to Ivankovs Emporio Healing and Stamina hormones. Basically, Dragon extreme diffs the leader of the Holy Knights Pranks, then goes on to fight Imu.

Maybe Iva can powers can play a role you’re right

but I don’t like this can of plot/free heal etc so in my head canon I won’t happen

and Iva will maybe have her own battle

let’s see but yeah Iva healing is the only way for Dragon to have a great fight prior to Imu

If Dragon is indeed the Wyper of the final arc then him destroying a Goro like Wyper destroyed Shura isn’t out of expectation

I imagine this is all happening next arc. With Dragons words, he’s not going to wait for anyone to be pirate king before claiming the only safe land on earth.

I think I’ve wrote this before.

Dragon = Hiko Seijuro XIII

If you’ve read Rurouni Kenshin, a manga Oda was an assistant on back in the day, then you know Kenshin is the main protagonist and the strongest in the world next to his rival Saito and the 3 strongest enemies Seta Soujiro, Shishio and Enishi.

There was however one character FAR stronger than them all - Hiko Seijuro XIII. He was Kenshins teacher and so strong that the author deliberately had to keep him away from the main plot. Otherwise everything would be solved to easily.

In One Piece there are a few characters like that. Dragon sitting on an island saying (…) and Akainu (would find One Piece in 1 year) sitting behind a desk saying (…).

Dragon is in the same ballpark as Shanks.
Very strong but nothing "absurdly broken".
Or rather, yes because he is among top 4.
But I dont think the gap with others is that big.

I feel for it to have max impact it has to be a Celestial Dragon.

Some theorize that Garling is actually Bonney’s father. If that’s the case then he’s the perfect hype tool for Dragon to avenge Ginny.

Commander-in-Chief Kong is a non-Celestial that could work too since he’s done nothing all this while like Dragon.
Dragon then moves on to be hype-tooled by Imu like everyone expects.

but they weren’t fodder and neither will the zodiac VAs be fodder

an admiral can literally low diff most YC1s. The zodiacs being high tiers is literally the weakest they should be.
