Yeah, that's for old and sick Whitebeard, but he was only sick in his last few years. Mihawk was over 40 years old in Marineford. So when did he become the WSS? When Whitebeard got too sick? Who would record it anyways? Whitebeard had the WSM title until marineford, where it was proven wrong due to his sickness taking over. So until Marineford, WB had all his hype.
