I believe there are objectively more moments in this manga where Admirals are looking superior to a Yonkou.
For Yonkou > Admiral moments on panel I can think of Shanks against Greenbull, Luffy turning depressed Kizaru into a pizza? And I guess Shanks stopping Akainu?? That's if you reaaally wanna stretch it.
I can't think of anything else. WB cheapshotting Akainu from behind? Nah cause Akainu also punched his head off, so I didn't include that, as it's a wash in the best case scenario for the Yonkou.
I don't believe I'm missing anything else. The rest are either washes or not direct interactions.

About the Akainu and Whitebeard leg/murakumogiri clash, Sanji clashed similarly with Doflamingo and King.
Luffy was sensing someone strong enough to be a problem, Bleach style i should say (Kono reiatsu..!!!) thats it.
That's reserved for people like the Pirate King, Strongest Swordsman, Yonkou, Admiral & Gorosei.

Shiryu and Fujitora both has Lineage from Wano country.
Namingly , Uzuki clan and Fugetsu clan.
Shiryu full name is probably - Uzuki Shiryu
Fujitora name is " Issho Fujitora " - Fujitora means " " Wisteria Tiger ". Wisteria flower shed their leaves in september which is basically Autumn season. Representing Fujitora dropping his Fugetsu lineage name to protect himself like Zoro named changed to Roronoa.
Also Zori fought a fuckin Tiger near the forest beside Kuri castle.
And Kibi is literally beside Kuri.
Now coming Aramaki who was also expected to be from Wano.
Well guess what , What region we still haven't talked about yet!!!!

Oh there's an explanation or excuse for everything, even the Yonkou > Admiral scenes I listed. You're missing the point. I'm just listing out band for band, the moments that paint one individual in a superior light in that single instance. Pretty confident Oda drew more Admiral > Yonkou instances. Though it doesn't necessarily mean Admirals are > Yonkou, he just happened to draw more of em.
It's probably easier for him since WB was old, and BB is a coward. Greenbull is the one Admiral who is just as eccentric as BB, so he got the BB twerk treatment. Luffy doesn't really have an excuse, but I guess he's the MC so Oda isn't afraid to make him look weak at times.

Just with a sword , He shouldn't considered as dangerous as Magallen. He negged diffed the entire black beard crew at that time and it was no fluke. Magallen straight up dominated. And they only won after Shiryu came to this side.
