Chapter Discussion The Blackbeard Pirates are the best crew in the series and Teach is the best “Pirate” why do people hate him?

Blackbeard is a vile man. He's a backstabber, a traitor, and a coward on top of that.
I don't hate him, I despise him which is different.
But I also value his mind and talent for scheming, and I give him the due credit for it. His Crew is great, for the most part, and he's excelent at using his men in the role they can shine the most. This makes him a great Boss without a doubt.
I also like his Crew's theme of Dark Pirates, very fitting in One Piece world.
But if you look at Law, for example, he has the same kind of talent (but lacks the manpower to back him up) without being the disgusting person Teach is. Again: a vile backstabber. This stresses even more how rotten Blackbeard is to me.
So yeah, I recognize his value as a Great Pirate, but I will never like him at heart.
