You guys argue how Yonkou is not about strength. And I've said it is. Clearly you should of understood so.

If you say power and strength and i add "territory" with "and", then i obviously mean power, strength and territory together make a yonko. So if you think i argued being a yonko is not about strength, you didnt put much effort into understanding what i said.

I would argue though that being a yonko isnt solely about strength.

If Shanks couldn’t beat Mihawk years ago when Shanks had both arms, what makes you think he can beat Mihawk now? We know that since he fought Shanks, Mihawk defeated other sword masters and turned his blade black.

He is also acknowledged as the WSS while Shanks is not despite supposedly filling all criteria for the title (being strong, being a swordsman), while Mihawk isn’t a Yonko because he doesn’t have a crew or territory which are required for the title.

Mihawk isn’t in the conversation for Yonko because he doesn’t fulfill the basic requirements, while Shanks has never been referred to as the WSS because he is simply weaker than Mihawk.

Strength is the only requirement for WSS. Strength is not even close to the only requirement for Yonko. Marco was almost a Yonko ffs lol.

I've said this before, You need strength to be a Yonko, but having Territory comes with being a Yonko; Expanding your power, That's just a natural thing, having a crew makes it easier as well, for expanding, But you Need Strength.

It's implied that the Yonko are the top of the world; the only contenders are the Admirals, and possibly the 5 Elder Stars and Im, there could be outliers, but Assuredly Mihawk is even but not over.

Sure, but then again.. We were never told who was the strongest between them back when they had their legendary duels. And even if Shanks grew in strength, there really must be a reason why Mihawk does not care to continue the battles. And nobody disputes his title in universe... None. He is the worlds strongest swordsman, and even went so far as to try and groom Zoro into a worthy challenger.
