As far as I am concerned we can bet on Dragon too. That should show you that Is not the fact that we are talking about Akainu the problem.

Not to be rude, but it's your problem only if you can't accept Akainu is a future Luffy opponent and command a force that dawrfs Shanks' or any onther pirate for that matter. At least hypothetically.

I have accepted Akainu as a future Luffy opponent I’ve always advocated that, you’re just trying to put him into power levels he has no proof being even close to.

Oda isn’t going to give Sakazuki a bounty above Shanks. Sure I’ll do an avi bet.

(Bounties and PL are not that closeley related; Shanks > BM, just to say one. What do you think Shanks' bounty would be if his crew was as strong as the whole Marine?)

Who says Akainu won’t have 5 crowns ? The cross guild star system is rip off dressora . Cody has 5 stars . Oda will show maximum as 5 which Akainu get 5 crowns.simple as it.
But muh shanks , Oda didn’t use shanks/mihawk/ WB as overpowered character example to end one piece series in 2012 which majority fans think shanks top 1 . Heck shanks is aint villain Meanwhike Akainu order to bo,b civilians at ohara boats.

Bounties and PL are incredibly closely related, Oda even has multiple characters mention it directly as power statements for a reason. The “not closely related” cope is just from fans.

I can give you various examples of the opposite, and I man a lot.

Bounties are a number that represent how a person is dangeurous. Part of that can came from how strong he Is, sure, but it's not all.
As I said, Shanks > BM for sure. And do you think Shanks' bounty would be the same if he had a crew as strong as the whole Marine just like Akainu? I don't think so.
