Thousand Sunny is the Ship of the Sun God Nika.

The Sunny's mascot/figurehead is a Lion head.

At the end of Egghead, we got a tease for Elbaf:

IMO, the Sun God in question is Shiki himself, the Golden Lion.

He floats into the air with his golden hair like the rising sun.

Shiki is the kind of schemer to work his way into Elbaf over time, to build trust.

I believe Loki was on the Giants' Ship in disguise; Shiki encouraging Loki that Luffy is an enemy, and getting Loki to capture him, fits Shiki very well.

Loki is a schemer in Mythology, just like Shiki, it's a fun fit.
