I only saw a singular panel of Bananji vs Feego King. Bananji being somebody who is a slow starter, I think Feego King has gotten stronger than before and should be enough to atleast clash with a normal Bananji for sometime, just like Akou did.
Only powerscaling thing, I got from that is: Xiongnu > Yotanwa and her mountain monkeys
Other than that, there's not much to go on.
Below isn't a huge difference in the scenarios, except Rozo can unleash all of his power from the get-go, and Bananji has the "Scale to opponent" syndrome. Along with Danto being fresh and healthy vs Bananji while being worn out against Rozo. Danto has shown the capability to stand against opponents more powerful than him before.
Don't see Bananji x Mouten happening but i think Hara should start to incorporate some of the generals and armies from the other states into the Qin army.
Maybe after a couple of years we see the Ousen army and Rihaku of defense is their new 4th commander or some 5k Han commander is Mouten's new lieutenant etc..
For anyone that might think I'm a Gyou'un hater (since I seem to always be going against Gyou'un), this was my stance on Gyou'un back in 2019 as the arc was going on:
Gyou'un no doubt lol. Gyou'un got the power behind his strike somewhat compared to Gaimou, who is being set up as the MC's big 1v1 for Wei. Rinbukun on the other hand has no such hype to compare him to Gyou'un.
I would personally take Gyou'un over anybody not named, Gaimou, Tou, Renpa, Houken, Moubu, The current 2nd top general in China the Tiger of Chu, Karin, the guy who held up Ordo, might be some more i'm forgetting but you get the point list is very short.
Essentially no underling can beat this guy, and even out of the generals only very few can beat him.
My opinion changed when I reread the arc, due to a certain debate related to Renpa vs Gyou'un. Then I was like... wait a minute... hold on bruh... I overlooked this guy?!
I can see that for Baafuji honestly. But for Bananji his hate for the Qin burns strong and his loyalty to Riboku is too much, I think he'll go down in:
Some sort of a 1 vs all type of a situation whether it be against Qin forces or even Zhao forces. The Qin forces scenario would be doing his best to have Riboku escape the loss of some battle or holding back the Qin forces somehow. The Zhao force scenario would be him rampaging against the Zhao whenever Riboku gets arrested, him + some others will end up dying in a tragic attempt to rescue their lord, with the tragedy ending with Riboku's execution itself.

The problem is that we should assume Hara intends to eventually pay off this whole Bananji vs the Xiongnu subplot in some way, right? I imagined we would eventually get to see him on a Xiongnu battlefield. So to me it just seems natural that Bananji…
Would join up with whatever Qin general will fight the Xiongnu in the future. Which is Mouten.
I reckon the YTW army has more "creativity" factor going for them compared to the Xiongnu, which is why SSJ comments on the "movements you can't imagine" rather than just general strength of the army.
When I said Xiongnu > YTW and her squad, I primarily mean the Martial Might aspect. Since Bananji's "rage" is the comparison tool for the Xiongnu vs whoever else he fights. If you can't get him into rage mode, you aren't as strong as whatever Xiongnu he faced.

I think the payoff between him and Xiongnu is already done, they fear his martial prowess to the extent they call him "Demon", meaning he was already dominating the Xiongnu with Riboku. And when Riboku did his extermination of the Xiongnu in that 100k genocide, that was the closing mark.
The connection I see now between Bananji-Xiongnu is just him being the Martial Might hypetool to tell us the prowess of the Xiongnu. So whoever pushes him to rage mode, we can then assume from there that's the caliber of fighters the Xiongnu possess., thus establishing their base threat power, for when we get to the EoS stuff with them that you mentioned.
Also the fact he'd just be really old by then, that's why I think Bafuuji would be the better fit, as he'd be able to grow martially under Mouten as well and potentially carry his father's legacy.

Hmmm maybe Bafuji. Idk, I just always thought we might see Bananji vs the Xiongnu lol. I mean Renpa will be in his 70s by the time the Chu wars come about and I still think he will have a 1v1 against Shin.
Either way I think we will see some minor Zhao commanders join up with Qin in some form.
i'm definitely worried about Hara fumbling the ending and middle of the arc. Mostly because of Hango and to a lesser extent how Gyou ended(solely the Houken vs Shin fight). the lack of presence from Raku'ukan hasn't helped with my worries regarding arc. Gian had a nice climax but a lot of the middle parts were.... disappointing to me.
but I like this chapter because I've always wanted to see more chapters of the Hi Shin Unit and the Qin army handling the citizens of a conquered enemy city. I remember wanting to see Shin deal with a problem ever since that one chapter in Sanyou where he almost killed that 1000 man commander for looting and pillaging.
i'm not the biggest fan of Hara's battles recently, so focusing on the Han city and how they handle conquering it is a nice change of pace. Most of the chapters I've enjoyed the most have been outside of the battlefield(the Kanpishi arc, the mini-marriage arc,).

I'm right now at 0 hype for Raku'A Kan and am counting on third parties to make this conflict more interesting. Within no time flat, Hara pretty much ended the mystique of this dude and now it feels inevitable he'll get rolled over relatively easy without assistance.
I think part of the reason Kingdom has declined - in my view - is because Qin became to powerful after going undefeated for a decade between Bayou and Gi'an. Every setback just feels temporary and the 2 losses to Ri Boku since haven't been well written arcs and been more frustrating than anything for me (Kan Ki's weakness being dumb, his backstory made up on the fly and completely disatissfying, the lack of any real battle, Hango being basically a massive fumble of a 3GH vs 6GG showdown with almost every looking like fools - it's a long list of complaints).
I've reread WZI so many times I've genuinely lost count, and I still keep finding new things to admire about it. I think the Hou Ken fight shouldn't have happened at all, and I think the arc was too long, but all in all, it's a thoroughly satisfying arc. It's so good that I can forgive otherwise egregious flaws like the Hou Ken fight (wtf did it have to happen then and there at all?) and plot devices that could've been written in more gracefully (Shin's apparent resurrection). All in all, Gyou is still, at least, a 9/10 arc to me.

Agreed. I find these "downtime" scenes are what make the battles meaningful, and this plot in particular is indeed a nice payoff for the HSU being so different for many years that they've actually garnered a reputation for being honourable with civilians.
It was cool that Kan Pi Shi knew about it also, and it was a payoff in itself that he seemed to leave his decision to go to Kanyou in Shin's hands because of it, but of course it was his job to know.

WZI hurt the manga long term tbh. After State of Ai I didn't think any of us were preparing for essentially a 300 long chapter saga against Zhao with just 15 days of that taking up half of everything. Hara probably fainted at the end of 627 w/ Houken dying and realizing he still had like 20-30 years history wise content to cover.
