In the story Akainu chose Luffy over Ace; It was Ace that sacrificed himself.
Also, Luffy has Akainu's scar, while Sabo has a completely different plot against the CD (second in command of the Rev, attacked Marijoa, delcared war, saw and was wounded by Imu) and Sabo too has a Scar...made by a CD.
This Sabo Is Ace 2.0 would have a little sense if one was willing to say Sabo vs BB too then, which was the first thing a new Ace would do, but obviously no one thinks that.

My view is different.
It's pretty much confirmed that Dragon and Akainu have some connection.
Sabo will surpass Dragon, defeating some lame Gorosei aint gonna be enough.
If Akainu falls to Luffy i cant see it happening at the end of the story since we have Imu & BB.
On the other hand if he falls in the next 1-2 arcs it's way too soon for him.
If he makes it till the end it wont be possible for Luffy to beat him in a good fight and the theory that Akainu will become Blueno 2.0 is retarded.
All i'm saying is that both brothers will have clash with him before switching enemies. We can't be 101% sure whos gonna finish him.

Luffy has iconic x shaped scar . Literally poster star for timeskip luffy desgin. Even in gag like gear 5 grab his scar from Warcury coc roar . And literally x shaped scar as famous x shaped for finding the treasure.

If they are not in this pack it's unlikely they will be in another one considering the pack is named pirate island Blackbeard vs Marine, featuring Teach and all of the other characters involved in Hachinosu (Kuzan, Garp, Sword marines)
I guess we ain't getting BBP bounties anytime soon, Kuzan in his VC is possible but I have the feeling Oda wants to reveal the bounty of the 10 captains at the same time.
