Fanclub Paleo Posting.

Don't know if I asked this already, and being a wg user I'm to lazy to check the thread, so I shamelessly ask: are these your videos?
I know you're passionate about dinos almost as much as X Drake's stepbro @TheAncientCenturion so it wouldn't surprise me if it were the case
Oh goodness no. Lol. I absolutely don't have the ability to make these. I never graduated beyond stick figures in the art department. :catsweat:

Yeah but the sharks have had way too much plot armour. Those sassenachs have been around since the Paleozoic Saga (back during the Devonian Arc) and have had little to no signs of character development since then. :tchpepe:
The Homo Naledi arc was an annoying twist

Used to be obsessed with paleontology as a kid.

But anyways, a species that shook me to the core when I first read up on it is the Daeodon.

''These hoofed mammals (artiodactyls) have been nicknamed “terminator pigs”, a reference to the fact that these brutish animals come from the same branch of the hoofed mammals, the ungulates, as pigs, however, recent research suggests that the eight or nine genera that make up the Entelodontidae family are probably more closely related to hippos and whales. However, a Daeodon model (member of the Entelodontidae), has been produced.''

''Fossilised footprints and bone bed discoveries suggest that these omnivores lived in small family groups and that during the Oligocene and the early part of the Miocene epoch, they became adapted to open, savannah-like habitats. The long legs would have helped them cover large territories as well as helping them to adapt to a pursuit hunting habit. The strong neck muscles helped support a skull that in some species was over a metre long. The thickly enamelled teeth and those large fangs located on both the upper and lower jaws would have given this prehistoric mammal a devastating bite.''

I am shocked that a creature like this used to roam the lands, and grateful that they've been wiped off the face of the earth lol.
Hippos would clap their cheeks

idk man they work for me might be a location type of thing or something
Unfortunately, it looks like he deleted his channel.
Of course the bloke whose channel that I promoted on the very first post would delete his YouTube account..... Again..... Feck. :shame:

I just wanted to check if he might have uploaded something that I missed and I find this. :peperain:
Twas a shame cause I loved his videos on Synapsid evolution. The rest of the channels in this thread are still active. It's just the channel that I opened this thread with that went kapoot.:josad:

Yeah you're both right, the channel in the OP is gone. That's a shame honestly.

Aight, break week got me bored on here. Time to revive this thread for a bit. :PepeReport:

A new study has been published on a recently discovered specimen that could be described as one of the greatest paleontological finds of the 21st century (so far :feelsokeman:).

The remains of a mummified cub from the saber tooth cat family was found with excellently preserved soft tissue in Yakutia, Russia.

As the study puts into perspective; "For the first time in the history of paleontology, the appearance of an extinct mammal that has no analogues in the modern fauna has been studied."
This is quite the big deal for paleo folk.:watchout:
