I mean its loda sanji was just the toy, while many author try to create an interesting dynamic like luffy and zoro but failled or the relationship feel forced oda managed to create that dynamic and instead of maintaining the hype he waste our time in pointless gags. If he keep draguing his own characters down its on him since how this manga end will also impact the world view on him as an an author.
