Well the election is 14 days away. Let's go over what a potential Trump or Kamala presidency would bring. Please note that this also takes into consideration their whole administration and political allies who wants them to win. It's not the candidates alone.
Trump
-Wants to continue Reagan's trinkle down economics strategy. More tax cuts across the board and more jobs, but higher inflation and easier wealth hording for the rich.
-Wants to further deregulate the market which means more power to capitalist
-Seeks to move away from Globalization and escalate tension with China but removing all support from the country(because China is on the road to replace America as the #1 superpower).
-Cracking down on not only illegal immigration, but immigration in general
-Wants do dismantle the liberal form of government(3 equal branches) by giving the Executive Branch more power. Schedule F(create by Trump), allows the President to fire anyone at will(and replace them with yes men).
-More executive power to the President also means they can change what's legal to their benefit
-Wants to criminalize gender expression and abortion as pornography, which allows jobs to refuse any LGBTQ person through technically legal means.
Kamala
-Wants to reduce inflation
-Wants to increase taxes across the board, and tax unrealized capital gains(investments), which would lead to higher unemployment.
-Wants to give financial support and tax credit to first time home buyers(something mentioned for years with negative results)
-Wants to reduce medical costs(done nothing about it for years)
-Wants to crack down on illegal immigration(spent years supporting it which gives Companies cheap labor, and an excuse to keep wages low).
-Flip flops between support and fighting against Trump's border wall
-No details on her social policy and just says the usual "I support all minorities and LGBTQ", despite anti-lgbtq laws being passed when she was VP.
-No presence and when she was sent to negotiate with Putin, he invaded Ukraine 3 days later.
-Pro globization, so increased amount of tax money being sent to foreign nations to fuel wars.
So with Trump, you could have a better economy but an erosion of social rights and what little democracy the U.S. has. Potential instability. With Harris, it would be business as usual with the democrats doing the opposite of what they claim but at a worse rate.
