Besides some violated eardrums and some thoroughly molested shoulders (courtesy of Cackling Kamala and Sloppy Joe respectively), King Kennedy is none the worse for wear and prevails to the next round!
Moving forwards, the Presidential Punchout committee has agreed to speed up the competition through holding multiple fights at once. These fights will be separated into Blocks (i.e. Block A, Block B etc.).
This decision was made as a result of an internal review that was conducted after board members brought up concerns that making the hosts of the competition, the Worst Gen Mod Team, edit the poll a further 13 times would count as workplace cruelty.
To start off Season 2 of Presidential Punchout, we are beginning with three fights! Partially to start off this season with a bang and mostly because I realised that there were an odd number of Rounds left.
Regardless, each matchup will see a newcomer challenge a familiar face. Will these newcomers cement a place for themselves in this tournament? Or will the old guard of Season 1 beat off these upstarts? Only one way to find out.
