Sengoku still killed all those pregnant women though
Yeah that was established pre time skip though

Post Time skip Sengoku is a more relaxed old dude who annoys Akainu, raised Corazon and overall portrayed in a good light

I'm surprised Oda still had it in him. Marines in general seem to bring the best out of him, probably because they are far more grounded in reality type of characters, as opposed to the cartoonishly evil Yonkou.

Still can't draw fights for shit, no excuse to waste panels on a bunch of nothing instead of expanding on logia abilities.....but that's just classic Oda, that will never change. Only when it is time for someone to fall will he reveal abilities. I'm afraid there is a good chance we never get to see what an all out Kizaru looks like...

But yea Oda has created a banger of a character from preskip to postskip. He expanded on what looked to be an emotionless psychopathic villain into someone with a heart, and somehow still made it true to Kizaru's character. Is Kizaru a good guy? I wouldn't say so, heck I wouldn't even say the version of him we knew before egghead was a lie, that Kizaru is just as real, but what Egghead showed was he is human. Even the coldest of individuals have heart when it comes to family and friends.

The more you learn about a single individual the more multifaceted/multilayered they are, real people aren't one note. Hope people don't get the wrong idea and think Kizaru is an angel, not even close to it (he's still one of the coldest characters in the series), rather it just shows depth.
It's almost as if the Admirals are based off Oda's favorite actors and some of his most respected human beings.

If only Oda was consistent with that type of quality with Egghead as a whole. Fucking Vegapunk....

Not the first time Oda teases Aramaki having a past involving a woman, in a previous volume he said he had must have had a tragic history with a woman to have this tattoo (lovers suicide at Shinagawa) yet no actual explanation on what actually happened
Flashback incoming?:hope:
If I were to guess she was probably paid by some criminal organization to lure him into a trap so they can kill him (think Viola and the Doffy family)

The tattoo is about a prostitute convincing her young lover to commit suicide but she doesn’t go through with it so it’s fitting with the tattoo

I do not care whether he is or he isnt.

I just find it interesting that you accidentally thought Fujitora was Ryokugyu to push the agenda that he was a swordsman.

Cuz when its about Fujitora, the Chadmiral fandom spent years coping about how he's a "Katana User" and not a Blind swordsman 😭
Tbh candies/waiters aren't the most braindead naysayers when it comes to the narrative that excludes literal confirmed swordsmen with legendary rivalries from being swordsmen.
Luffytards are easily 50x dumber, these days you have to think twice before discussing anything OP with someone with a Luffy or Luffy/Nami avatar. :willight:
Who the fuck were the soldiers who thrown Admiral level Amaraki into prison tho :snoopy:
He didn't have his DF so he couldn't fight. Marijuana deja Vu. :MonkeWhat:

I'm guessing Aramaki was depressed after the incident with the women and just let them capture him
I have a better story.
Both decided to commit suicide by gunshot.
But aramaki got hungry so the woman gave whatever she had left and she had a fruit which she didn't realise was Mori Mori no mi.
He ate it , didn't like it.
Then proceeded with the suicide.
Both of the shot themselves.
She ded
Chadbull survived cuz he logia man now.

Oda keeps sidelining fan-favorite histories to SBS but spends an entire fucking chapter/chapters dedicated to Vegapunk announcing Roger is a D :hope:This man is not serious:kobeha:
