No idea, I think they became an extremely rich party and forgot everyone else in the process.
That's the problem with the democratic party. People liked them because they were seen as the party for the poor and the underpaid, while Reps were seen as the party for the rich and the elite. Along the way, the dems became no different and ended up demonizing the lower and middle classes for the sake of appealing to the rich university graduate generation because said generation inherited the CEO positions of their rep parents and can contribute the most donations to the party. It doesn't help that they've taken political correctness to its most extreme which is downright alien to those outside of big cities.

No idea, I think they became an extremely rich party and forgot everyone else in the process. They ran a panic campaign on fascism and abortion, which wasn’t gonna be a thing people will react to (apart from fools).
They don't even know what they are doing is in itself a problem and are still too fixated on being politically correct even at the cost of their majority

A research paper by an esteemed University of the west said that right wing parties are on the rise because they are eroding democratic institutions....bruh

After the election is before the election. It's his last term, now the opposition has to find a charismatic candidate they can build up for the next election. I'm more worried about the global effects regarding armed conflicts and economy.
He can also do a lot of institutional damage while he’s in there. He could ban abortion nationwide, old conservative justices can now retire and be replaced by new ones who will be in there for an entire generation. He can gut social security and other social programs that keep people out of extreme poverty. He can gut government agencies like the EPA, the financial protection bureau, and the CDC.

His policies could cause irreversible damage for years to come. Not to mention it’s November and tomorrow will be 74F outside (around 23C)

I’m a hardcore atheist, but god fucking help us.

I am afraid that his impact and legacy will keep marking US political landscape for a while, now the democrats have their chance to finally question things and try to do some much necessary changes to themselves but I doubt they will do it before a while, they should have already done it but didn't.

I imagine that it will be the same for political parties in Europe, it will be a while before they finally renew themselves and reconnect partially with the people.
