I think many do and the atmosphere changed since they started bogus charging Trump, but people felt Trump would win in 2016, so despite everything screaming, Trump would run away with the election no one, including myself, wanted to get their hopes up.

Btw I didn't pay too much attention to the 2016 election that Trump won the first time (against Clinton) but even then there were a ton of disdain for Clinton being president, and not just for being a woman either.

Trump, with his boisterous and charismatic personality would have still been the more appealing choice to the US voters.

Trump better let him tackle the health crisis in our food in the US (I've ranted about this in the other thread before RFK even considered joining Trump). I listened carefully when Trump gave his speech to make sure he didn't forget the people who helped him because that would've been cringe. RFK, Tulsi, & Musk. But Vance was a great pick as well, because he went on all the podcast and was normal and not this weird that they all tried to say he was.

I didn’t realize Europe banned MOST of the chemicals on our foods since the 70s

and autism in kids jumped from 1 in 1030 to 1 in 33

as someone who has autism run in their family, this is kinda important to me. The wild jump is worrisome and I’m not sure what the food and drink impact is having.

I also think dems should place a lot of the blame for this loss on celebrity douchebags acting all high and mighty and talking down to voters, because quite frankly those Hollywood assholes make democrats look hella worse and Kamala should've stayed clear of them.

I didn't follow this, but people said Bernie was supposed to be the candidate in 2016 BUT the most democratic party, the democrats, said no, despite what the voters wanted and gave it to Hillary. I don't know anything about this firsthand, but it's just what I heard.

That about sums it up. A lot of my more liberal friends att voted for Jill Stein or Trump because of it. The DNC really wanted to bet everything on the 'first female president' ticket hoping it would give them a better chance at winning than running with Bernie and look how that turned out.
