Your actions, like many other people, do nothing but turn people right wing.
That's the commong confusionnist argumentation in which REACTANCE is the reason why people are pushed right wing or are right wing.
This is wrong and fallacious.
> Not only is it putting the responsibility of bigotry and reactionnary ideas on the victims of oppression who are legitimitly angry against those oppressions that they understand and fight everyday.
> But it is also wrong because what sociologically push people toward those ideas is not reactance, but the appetance for conservative and authoritative ideology and the system that feed those ideas..
In other words, I'm not the reason why people here are reactionnaries, the system is (Capitalism/Patriarchy/meritocracy etc.) and they are.
And to go farther, I can assure you that when I thought like those people and you, that the reasons why I was angry against SJW at the time were SJW themselves and their radicalism, because yes, I was once saying the EXACT same thing - "you are the reasons because we are angry and right wing" - i've come to understand that the REAL reasons for my conservatives leaning at the times was simply my complete refusal to open my mind to the ideas that those people had a point, were legitimate in their anger and radicalism and that I was conditionned by my education and my environment to be pushed to accept reactionnary ideas MORE THAN progressive one.
Once I started to understand that, I had absolutely no problem hearing the words of people who were angry at me and were treating me of Islamophobes or racist. It took a bit of time to understand all the aspect of leftism (around three years) but I finally came to listen completely and without any prejudice to those people who were angry at me. And trust me when I say that:
I would have NEVER listened to them otherwise. It's their anger and radicalism that triggered my curiosity.
We can't fight oppression with kind words and love.
You're a fake/uneducated leftist.
That's cute.
You say things without knowing what they mean, how to get there, nor the history behind it.
I concede that my historical knowledge is not the best. This is true. The rest is on point, sorry for you, but understanding the history of a movement will not necessarily make you understand its core values.
This is a political work.
Because of this so you fill in the gaps with your assumptions, using your own subjective morality as baseline
Sure. So much that the only one here who brings data from actual researchers and activist who work on the subject that I talk about ...
is me.
But keep dreaming mate. I'm waiting for you now to say that the science I bring you is not real science. Go on.
Doing such gives you very Liberal and outright authoritarian tendencies.
Lol. You really never met any REAL radical leftist in your life, right ?
The constant dismissal of others as morally inferior is one of the big reasons Trump got elected in the first place.
No.
The reason why Trump was elected is because:
1. The system of USA is rigged to elect people for the interests of the 1%
2. The democrats gave up the working class
3. Liberals do NOT understand progressism
4. Because Trump is appealing to the storytelling that people wanna see and not Harris
5. Because Harris choose to support a genocide and Trump managed to make his base thinks that he would resolve all conflicts on earth.
6. Because both Harris and Trump are running for the interests of big corporations but Trump is making it look like a good thing.
7. Because people are angry and want change and Harris fought for a weak status Co
8. Because the far right mediatic grasp is immense on social medias and youtube.
9. Because the richest man on the planet rigged the election by pushing the biggest social media to support Trump on a systemic basis.
10. Because the left is completely absent mediatically and because people do not organize massively to fight the system in the US.
11. Because the system is craeted in such a way that it will always support the worst candidate.
12. Because the far right campagned on reactionnary ideas and the only things that democrates did is try to fight disinformation for years without understanding the identitary nature of the threat.
13. Because of people like you who confuse everyone into thinking that radicals are the problems and undermine anyone who strongly fight the real issues that are Capitalism/Ableism/Racism/Transphobia/Patriarchy etc.
And so many more.
The reasons why Trump won are the same why Macron in France lost. It's the SAME political logic. But contrary to your country, my country is FILLED with politician with the same rethoric and radicality as mine.
Hence, when we had to face a battle against the far right... we won. Macron took her victory from us, but we still won nonetheless.. DESPITE our radicalism.
People like me, who are radicals and just want a change have NOTHING to do with the radicalization to the right of those people,
those people were already ready for those ideas.
People, in real life, are not repelled by radicalism or rethoric like mine. They are PUSHED toward those ideas by the system that completely destroy them and by people who use their suffering to direct them to vote against their own interest.
I know there is a very low % that you read so far but really. You need to open your eyes and target the right problems. There is an overwhelming % of reactionnary rethoric here, and what you focus on, is me, who is trying to fight it.
This simple data, should be able to create an alarm in any rationnal persons who want more progressism.
