like i mentioned a few days ago about steve chan in my area, once he had officially declared support for trump (also rejecting a homeless shelter proposed in the area in which many of the 'older' have been vehemently against, pretty much all of south brooklyn voted red as well. still decent ppl around here regardless of what they voted for since i've known them for yrs but i definitely noticed a difference in the last few days walking around.
I don't know why some of you are still skeptic about Trump's fate .
He has biggest plot armor in the history of modern day politics.
Got hate speeches running by mainstream media for 10 years
Branded as destroyer of democracy and Fascists (it's still funny that Trump made these politicians piss their pants to fear him so much)
2 assassination attempts
Was thrown under the bus of all sorts of identity cards
Was accused of every single damn thing -
Was charged and put under trial and some AGs even went overboard to twist the law to get this man done for good....and American media ensured whole World come to know about this...
Yet, his popularity only increased across the world and now he's 47th President.
Betting against him simply implies you people haven't learnt a single damn thing from last 10 years

What's funny is, if he kept everything the same and the only thing that changed was he announced he was running as a democrat when he came down that golden escalator, he would be the greatest president of all time to the left right now because he was the greatest to them before he even entered politics.
Given the right would think he was the devil right now lol.

And, what I am seeing online, his supporters are highly loyal to him now. If they didn't leave him after all that he faced in 10 years....
I can absolutely guarantee you - nothing will make them budge now.
And, people are already talking about how to carry forward his legacy in 2028 regardless of how he performs..Lmao

Democrats should be glad that a person can become President only for 2 terms in USA otherwise you would have seen Trump as 48th President as well and would have haunt liberals for ages
I wonder if media will continue the Trump fear mongering and heavy authoritarian censorship. Trump outrage could still make them some bank, but is proven again that it only makes Trump support grow faster than Trump hate.
Libs are having a real meltdown on twitter because a lot of latinos went for Trump. Now a lot of them are call-spamming ICE which is honestly fucked up.
That's how you know standard libs don't really stand for minorities, they just see them as a means to an end.
That being said, I do think most Hispanics that voted for Trump are low-key retarded. If we see a lot of deportations in the future, I expect a lot of buyers remorse to go around in that community.
One is a pediatrician and the other is an anti-vaxxer nut without so much as a health degree whose rhetoric led to the death of over 50 children in American Samoa.

If the qualification was being physically fit, there are millions of people more qualified. They would also come with the bonus of not being directly responsible for the deaths of 83 people which you can read more about here.
Defending the appointment of a literal anti-vaxxeras the head of the Department of Health is mind-boggling.

I'll assume you're being honest and didn't really understand what I was saying so let me explain. Yes, you need to be a citizen to vote. However, a lot of these people have family members that are here illegally. A very high percentage of first gen Hispanics have parents or other family members who are illegal immigrants.
So when you take that into account, it is sort of retarded for you to vote for Trump when he is threatening a close family member with deportation. It's even worse when you see people vote for Trump when their family members have already been deported.

I would go out on a limb to say those who voted for Trump aren’t in that situation. Some possibly, yeah, but a minority. Especially those who have entered in the last four years.
but this reminds me of a post I saw where a man was like oh no Trump might deport my mother in law who gets off work at such and such time and she lives at xyz address.

There's a lot of anecdotal evidence to support there is a sizable number of them who did. The point is, it is counterintuitive. Somehow they've convinced themselves their situation will be better under Trump when they're one of the main communities that will be negatively affected by his immigration policies.
